Trio of New Options Ideas

Fresh Options Trifecta

We’ve got a trio of new options ideas to present this morning. Facebook and Starbucks just reported earnings yesterday in the post-market, and we have significant Form-4 buys at a bottom on TNET.

We have formulated an options idea for all of those chains. Some quick-strike plays for our earnings reporters, and a longer-term look for the Form-4:

TriNet Group, Inc. TNET 12/20 $55 Calls
Facebook, Inc. FB Weekly $190-195 Calls
Starbucks Corp. SBUX Weekly $85.50-87 Calls

Visium Technologies, Inc. VISM

Just a reminder for those of our readers who may not have caught yesterday’s report. We initiated three moths of coverage on VISM, and compiled an introductory report on the company in lieu of our regular morning report.

We would strongly suggest that our readers peruse that report if you didn’t already. The stock is still at a relative bottom as a high sub-penny, compared to the penny-plus marks it has been hitting recently. The potential for near-term gains of at least 100% is definitely present, and we don’t want anyone to miss out. Stay tuned for future reports going into further detail on VISM.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: WB Options & More

Zillow Group, Inc. Z

We targeted a set of ideas for the Zillow options chain yesterday, namely the Z Weekly $48-49 Calls, as the company was coming off of its Q3 earnings release.

The stock gapped down fairly significantly, however it launched into an immediate rebound that made some solid gains possible in our highlighted contracts. Here are the total possible intraday gains which could have been achieved on the back of those ideas.

$48 Calls – Range: 1.30-2.23 – Max Gain: 75%
$48.50 Calls – Range: 1.10-1.70 – Max Gain: 55%
$49 Calls – Range: .80-1.40 – Max Gain: 75%

Weibo Corp. WB

We’re simply going to stick to our running strategy of hitting up plays that have just seen their respective companies report on earnings. Chinese internet stocks have been flagging of late, and WB is at this point, extremely oversold.

We could envision a longer term scenario in which WB sees a replacement back to  $100-110 range, however we are just going to roll with some quick-strike ideas for now. We’ll be tracking the WB Weekly $86-88 Calls as we head into week’s end.

Recapping Recent Hot Picks

First thing’s first- we would like to include a quick update on two of the stocks to appear in our report yesterday, in which we had already witnessed very nice gains.  Both stock pressed to new highs during yesterday’s session, so we wanted to update readers on their continued success.

Tandem Diabetes Corp. TNDM  –  We called TNDM initially on April 11th, whereupon we observed a low of 6.62.  Yesterday the stock rose another 12% intraday, running from 10.75 to 12.05. That new high represents an 82% jump since our first alert, just over a month ago.

Stein Mart, Inc. SMRT – Also appearing in yesterday’s report for having put up impressive figures following our March 16th alert and subsequent observed low of 1.33, was SMRT. The stock reached a notable new high of 3.94. marking a two-month uptrend amounting to 196%

Arcadia Biosciences, Inc. RKDA

To come back to yet another great call we made last Tuesday (05/08), we’ve got RKDA. A couple of sessions following that first call, the stock would register a low of 7.31, and this week, we’re seeing the stock reaching new heights.

Yesterday it hit 12.25, which marks a rise of 67% in a matter of just six trading days. There is still a lot of room to the upside on the chart for RKDA to travel, so we’re definitely going to keep our eyes peeled for further bullish activity from RKDA.

Heat Biologics, Inc. HTBX

Speaking of charts with potential, we tagged HTBX on Monday, and it has been trending in the right direction, trading up from 1.35 to 1.74 so far. As you can see on the provided snapshot, it still has a very ripe-looking chart.
