Load of Fresh Options Plays & More

DICK’S Sporting Goods, Inc. DKS – Recap

Our only options idea based off of earnings reports yesterday morning was in the DKS chain. We noted the lackluster response to the company’s Q4 beat on earnings and revs, and went to the bearish side of the fence.

Our specific targets were the DKS Weekly $71-69.50 Puts and those contracts logged considerable gains, with the exception of the $70.50’s whose intraday increase was nominal.

Here are the exact trading ranges and total possible profits on those targeted DKS options plays:

DKS Weekly $71-69.50 Puts
$71: .90-1.60 (+78%)
$70.50: 1.05-1.25 (+19%)
$70: .40-1.50 (+275%)
$69.50: .61-1.20 (+155%)

Fresh Options Ideas:

We’ve got a decent selection of options plays to watch as we cruise through this midweek. With nothing really piquing our interest from this morning’s earnings calendar, here are a few potential plays based off of attractive chart setups.

XL 05/21 $12.50-15 Calls
PLUG 04/01 $45-48 Calls

EXPI 03/19 $50-52.50 Calls

Bonus Idea:
SPY 03/10 $388-389 Calls **Expiry at today’s close**

Extended Watchlist:
NSPX, CLWD, ATVK, TINO, MSTO, CCTL, BDGR, GYST

New Trading Ideas & More

Options Updates, Fresh Ideas:

As usual, in our premarket report yesterday morning, we started off a new trading week with some quick-strike options ideas. We were looking at the SPY, and XPEV chains with the SPY 03/08 $382-383 Calls, and the XPEV Weekly $28-30 Calls as our targets of interest.

All the action took place early on in the session, well prior to the markets dipping into the close. Here were the total possible gains on the table as they made their rapid morning runs:

SPY 03/08 $382-383 Calls
$382:  2.55-5.74 (+125%)
$383: 1.96-4.80 (+145%)
_____

XPEV Weekly $28-30 Calls

VRTX Weekly $215-217.50 Calls
VRTX 03/19 $220-225 Calls
DKS Weekly $71-69.50 Puts

Saddle Ranch Media, Inc. SRMX

From yesterday morning‘s extended watchlist, we saw SRMX put forth a pleasing intraday surge. The stock was trading for as little as .0046 in the very early goings, and raced quickly to a daily high of .0093. That worked out to a run of 102%

Volume has been picking up, and this is a stock that we saw pop to nearly .02 just last month. We’ll certainly want to continue to watch its activity for the possibility of another push.

Incredible Options Gainers:

We finished out last week with an absolute bang as we signaled a wide range of options ideas in Friday morning’s report that would churn out opportunities for enormous intraday gains.

The top runners of our day were our targets in the SPY Weekly $379-380 Calls, the AVGO Weekly $445-447.50 Calls and the COST Weekly $320-315 Puts. We had a range of ideas in the GPS chain but the gains didn’t compare with the following huge winners.

Just look at the trading ranges and total possible single-session gains that were on the table with these plays:

SPY Weekly $379-380 Calls
$379:  .24-5.76 (+2300%)
$380: .16-4.77 (+2881%)
____

AVGO Weekly $445-447.50 Calls
$445: .45-6.10 (+1256%)

$315: 4.14-9.33 (+125%)
_____

Fresh Options Ideas:
SPY 03/08 $382-383 Calls (Expires this afternoon!)
XPEV Weekly $28-30 Calls

Clean Coal Technologies, Inc. CCTC

For a little OTCQB action, we want to go ahead and tag CCTC for observation. The stock appears ready to start coming off of being oversold.

It had a nice run toward the beginning of the year, and we’re going to place it on watch for the possibility of similar future activity, with primary resistance at the current 50DMA of .013, and the MACD indicating the possibility of an impending reversal.

Wrapping Up Another Strong Trading Week

Snowflake Inc. SNOW – Options Review

In yesterday morning’s premarket report, there was a clear standout among our options ideas of the day. We had tagged the SNOW Weekly $247.50-250 Calls for observation following the company’s earnings drop. It was a release with mixed results, but that didn’t stop traders from pushing the stock as high as 279.45 on the session.

SNOW’s intraday move facilitated some fantastic numbers in our designated targets. The total possible gains were in the eight-bagger range, and were as follows:

SNOW Weekly $247.50-250 Calls
$247.50: 3.40-32.64 (+860%)
$250: 3.07-29.39 (+857%)
_____

Fresh Options Ideas*:
COST Weekly $320-315 Puts
AVGO Weekly $445-447.50 Calls
GPS Weekly $25.50-26.50 Calls
SPY Weekly $379-380 Calls

*Please do not attempt to trade options with a weekly expiration on Friday unless you are an advanced level trader with access to disposable funds!

For The Earth Corp. FTEG

FTEG is a CBD play traded on the OTC that we tagged in yesterday morning’s extended watchlist, after noticing two of the company’s overdue reports were filed for the previous two quarters. FTEG is currently working toward coming current, and that represents progress toward that end, so that’s something we’re going to want to keep an eye on.

Whenever a defunct OTC stock goes current, the attention it brings can often drive some serious moves. We’ve witnessed many subpenny runners of late, and FTEG could get its chance, so we’re going to want to monitor this one closely over a longer period of time.

AMTX Recap, Options Ideas & More

Starting the Week Off with Strength:

To kick off a new trading week yesterday morning, we posted a trio of fresh options ideas and for the most part we met with instant success. There were only two sets of contracts out of the nine we designated that didn’t post excellent moves on the session.

We had an updated set from DKNG which carried over from a solid performance for the stock last week, some daily calls in the SPY, and a post-earnings target with NRG. Here are the big winners and the total gains that were possible for anyone who caught our alerts:

DKNG Weekly $62-63 Calls.
$62: 2.58-7.10 (+175%)
$63: 2.21-6.20 (+180%)
_____

SPY 03/01 $383-385 Calls
$383: 2.89-7.83 (+171%)
$384: 2.01-6.87 (+242%)
$58: 1.55-5.89 (+280%)
_____

NRG Weekly $39-40.50 Calls
$39: 1.76-3.80 (+116%)
$39.50: 1.80-3.20 (+78%)
_____

Fresh Earnings Plays:
ZM Weekly $430-440 Calls
TGT Weekly $185-187.50 Calls

Aemetis, Inc. AMTX

We also want to swing back around for AMTX, a stock we began tracking just five weeks ago on the morning of January 25th. Its performance was subdued for the first part of last month, but the leaps and bounds it has made into blue skies since then have been so impressive that we had to rehash it for you this morning.

From its low of 6.08 subsequent to our alert, AMTX has made a fantastic run up to a new high of 16.39 yesterday. That marked an upswing of 170% and it came thanks to the company’s revelation of a new 5-year growth plan, during which time it believes it can reach revenues of over a billion dollars.
