4 Ideas to Start the Short Holiday Week

Back to Business:

Were back in the cockpit this morning and ready to take off, after pausing a week for office renovations and some summer sun with our families! We hope everyone had a fruitful stretch during our absence, and are ready to kick off another short trading week with us today.

Instead of backtracking two Fridays to rehash our picks where we left off, we’re just going to start fresh today with a nice selection of potential options targets, and pick it up from there. Here’s what’s piquing our interest this morning:

Things went mostly well for the ideas we placed on watch in yesterday’s premarket report. While only three out of the four target ranges we selected produced positive results, the three ideas that did work, worked like a charm.

Wednesday’s Winners:

We hopped right back into the swing of things yesterday following our brief vacation. In our premarket report for the day, we formulated a slate of three potential options swing trades, and we saw some incredible multi-bag intraday runs out of every target in the bunch.

Our interests for the day were all earnings plays, which were the PGR Weekly $247.50-250 Calls, the ASML Weekly $755-760 Calls, and the JNJ Weekly $157.50 Calls. We were pleased to be able to wrap up the trading week on Friday with a strong slate of options movers. There were no duds among the four potential plays we included with our premarket report, and only one set of individual contracts out of the whole lot of ten fell short of multi-bag status. All in all it was a great session.

Pre-Holiday Movers:

We left things off Monday morning in anticipation of a fairly subdued half-day of trading, but we still managed to find some good runners which provided fairly solid intraday opportunities. Apart from the pair of August ideas that were also included, which we’ll continue to keep an eye on in coming weeks, everything we highlighted made good moves for us.
