Bitcoin Target Recaps, Fresh Options Ideas

Yesterday’s Hot Bitcoin Options Plays

We put forth a handful of options ideas in yesterday morning’s premarket report, and from among those came multiple opportunities for some very respectable intraday gains.

The prime targets were the RIOT Weekly $15-16 Calls, and the MARA Weekly $13-15 Calls, which produced sizable moves with a little help from a dip-and-rip in the markets overall, and the extreme attention that Bitcoin is currently receiving.

Here are the total possible intraday gains that could have been achieved:

RIOT Weekly $15-16 Calls
$15: 1.15-2.95 (+157%)
$15.50: 1.00-2.60 (+160%)
$16: .85-2.36 (+178%)
_____

MARA 01/15 $13-15 Calls
$13: 2.40-3.50 (+46%)
$14: 2.17-3.11 (+43%)
$15: 1.90-2.80 (+47%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
WMT Weekly $145-146
SPLK 01/15 $175-180 Calls

JNS Holdings Corp. JNSH

We have been tracking JNSH for just over a month now, with our initial flag of the stock coming on November 24th. In the sessions to follow we watched as it traded for as little as .0046 per share, before launching into a killer run that has persisted throughout the whole month of December.

Yesterday, JNSH attained a new high of .0245, which represents a huge increase of 433% in less than 5 weeks time. This is another prime example of why it’s important to not only focus on our featured plays, but also make note of and track the stocks appearing in our Extended Watchlists.

Bitcoin Boom Related Ideas

With Bitcoin values pushing past $28K we want to start of this morning by identifying some related options ideas. In addition RIOT and MARA, which are directly connected to btc, we will also be entertaining an idea for OSTK, which seems to have a tendency to run concurrently with the digital currently.

Our specific targets in each of these potential plays are going to be as follows:

RIOT Weekly $15-16 Calls
MARA 01/15 $13-15 Calls
OSTK Weekly $47.50-58 Calls
_____

Bonus Idea:

Unrelated to Bitcoin, we also want to signal some calls in AZN as the company hopes its COVID-19 shot developed in conjunction with Oxford University will receive UK approval presently. We’re going to radar the AZN 01/08 $50-52 Calls.

Optech International Inc. OPTI

We have been tracking a relatively large amount of OTC stocks compared to what has become typical for us over the years. The most recent success story there happened last week in the form of OPTI, as we mentioned the stock in our reports from Wednesday and Thursday morning.

On Wednesday, we observed a low of .0576 which gave way to a new high of .0914 on Thursday. That works out to an overall move of 59%, a figure we would expect to see increase with the resumption of trading today based on the premarket activity we’re observing this morning.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: PEP Surges & More

PepsiCo, Inc. PEP

Pepsi had a solid across the board beat following its premarket earnings release yesterday, and we seized opportunity to include the  PEP Weekly $124-125 Calls in our morning report.

A five-dollar intraday run by the stock allowed for some very nice opportunities to profit in our pair of targets. The $124 Calls ran from .72-3.40 for a big 372% rip, while the $125’s traded from .32 to 2.45; a gain of 666%

Verb Technology, Inc. VERB

This stock is a newcomer to the NASDAQ, having only recently uplisted from the OTCQB, which has been the subject of a selloff over the past six weeks. That was kicked into another gear earlier this month when the company announced that its move to the NASDAQ would be accompanied by a $20M offering at roughly half the market price at the time.

Now that it has fallen well below the offering price, and indicators are suggesting a rebound may be in order, we are going to flag this play for observation in the days and weeks ahead.
