Thursday was another fantastic session for the options trading ideas we put forth in our morning report. We swept the board yet again, coming up with nothing but winners for the day. Coming up in the next week or so, we have a lot of big name earnings reports hitting the wires, so we fully expect to continue rocking with tons of excellent potential targets!

Cautious Yet Bold Options Strategy Keeps Bearing Fruit

Yesterday’s Options Success: 

It seems like the winds of fortune have been gusting in our favor for quite some time now, with the options targets we outlined in yesterday’s morning report all producing gain opportunities on some level. That makes for the fourth straight session in which every single one of our interests has given traders a shot as compounding their funds.

Our daily focus was trained on the AVAV 07/15 $75-70 Puts, the GIS 07/15 $70-72.50 Calls, and the MKC 07/15 $90-80 Puts, which all put forth some measure of intraday run in what amounted to a bit of a choppy day for the markets as a whole. Things in that regard have become rather harder to predict, but we’ve been trying very hard to select potential plays with a good risk/reward balance. Here’s where our efforts led yesterday:

As is typical for us, we also formulated some fresh options ideas for Friday’s report as well. We took a chance on two different plays, and were met with intraday success on both counts, closing the week out with strength.

Out targets were the STX Weekly $82.50-85 Calls, and the AXP Weekly $177.50-182.50 Calls, In both cases, we had a chance to snare daily profits of a significant nature, with all but one single target breaking into multibag territory on the day.
