Tuesday’s Movers, Today’s Earnings Plays

Tuesday’s Runners:

We fared rather well with our fresh options idea for yesterday morning’s premarket report, scoring big with two out of our three listed targets. The gains were relatively nominal as compared to some of the big multi-baggers we’re accustomed to, but four out of the six total contracts in question did at least reach double-bag status.

Those plays were the PYPL Weekly $73-70 Puts, and the IFF 05/19 $95-90 Puts, and here were the kinds of intraday runs they recorded on the session:

Monday’s Solid Start, 4-Pack of New Ideas

Good Start to the Trading Week:

We got things off to a fairly good start this week with the array of potential options ideas we included in yesterday morning’s premarket report. Our two earnings-related targets fared reasonably well, and our signals on the SPY really worked in our favor, posting double-bag moves.

Friday’s Big Winners, Fresh Plays to Start the Week

Friday Runners Recap:

We closed out the short trading week on Friday in high spirits, after our morning options trading ideas bore an incredible amount of fruit. We had only signaled interest in tracking two potential sets of targets, but that was more than enough of a selection to see some serious intraday gain opportunities.

We were zeroed in on the SQ Weekly $77-79 Calls, and the BYND Weekly $18-19 Calls, and were very impressed with the intraday movement in every single contract set. We went six-for-six on the day with the lowest upswing coming in at 300% and the highest topping 800% Just the sort of finish to a week that we love to have, and here are the performance figures they posted on the day:

Friday’s Big Runners:

Leading into Friday morning’s premarket report, we had already had one heck of a with respect to our daily options ideas. We closed things out on Friday with three ideas for the session, and once again we were met with good fortune in everything we put on our radar.

The targets we offered up for potential trades were the SPY 08/12 $420-421 Calls, the ILMN Weekly $200-195 Puts and the RIVN Weekly $38.50-39.50 Calls. The markets had an extremely bullish session, so our SPY Calls were the standout gainers, but our other interests also provided some really nice multibag gain opportunities on the day:

SPY Gains, Longer-Term Plays on the Move

SPY Gains, Longer-Term Plays Popping:

In terms of our options trading ideas from yesterday morning’s premarket report, we saw rather unimpressive performances from a couple of our ideas. However, our laser-like accuracy in dealing with the SPY continued in spades with the SPY 05/11 $402-404 Calls, so we’ve got the figures on those for you this morning.

We will also circle back around to a couple of the longer-term sets of ideas we made last week which have made some very impressive moves for us so far, and don’t expire until the end of next week. We signaled possible plays in the EL 05/20 $250-230 Puts and the FTNT 05/20 $290-310 Calls on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively, and each of them has produced major moves, which were as follows:
