Friday in Review, 3 New Potential Plays

Friday Recap:

Friday would have been a clean sweep session for us, but unfortunately one of our three ideas was rendered moot by a pretty obvious typo. However, the other two sets of targets we were watching in our premarket report made up for it, with some excellent intraday performance.

Those winning ideas were the AVGO Weekly $387.50-385 Puts, and the RH $155-157.50 Calls. both off the backs of earnings reports. We won’t have any earnings reporters to work with today, so we’ll go to other methods to generate our daily watchlist.

We got off to a bit of a rusty start this week following our hiatus, with just two of the three ideas we floated for yesterday’s premarket report posting intraday gains. It does happen on occasion, but we’ve no doubt that we’ll be back to our proper form and routine in no time.

The plays that ended up with positive intraday movement were the PDD Weekly $128-127 Puts, and the RH Weekly $227.50-225 Puts. The moves they recorded were as follows:

We thought we’d take a minute this morning to point out that today is the 14th anniversary of BlueHorseshoeStocks.com! When we first began the site and newsletters for this property back in 2011, we focused mostly on penny stock trading. We had more big time gainers come from the options plays we tagged in yesterday morning’s premarket report, continuing our success from the previous session. We put a slate of four possible targets on watch, and saw excellent intraday upswings across the board.

We went pretty light on options ideas yesterday for our premarket report , including just a pair of possible plays for the session. We’ve been a bit thin on earnings reporters to base our ideas on, and that’s going to be the case today as well. Things should pick up a bit on that front next week.

It was another really nice day for us on Wednesday, in terms of the performance of the options plays we highlighted in our premarket report. We’re still chugging right along as we head toward the ten week mark in our hot streak, a proposition that even we ourselves did not expect to occur in reality. The recent major market volatility has almost certainly made our jobs easier in that regard.

We saw some really good movement in XHLD from yesterday’s extended watchlist. The stock ran from a low of .70 on up to 1.74 for a 149% rip on the day.
