Blue Horseshoe Stocks: PULM Review & More

Pulmatrix, Inc. PULM

The first thing we want to talk about this morning is the recent performance of a stock we tagged for observation roughly three weeks ago on the 11th of March. PULM was under consolidation in the sessions that followed, and over the past week, has really blossomed into a solid runner.

From its recent low of 1.05, the stock has risen as high as 3.01, which marks an increase of 187% PULM was trading above $4 just a few months ag0. We’ll continue to monitor to see if the stock can recover the rest of its lost ground.

FRESH OPTIONS IDEAS

Walgreens Boots Alliance WBA – Here we would like to signal a range of puts in the WBA chain on the heels of the company’s whiff on Q2 earnings expectations, and slashed guidance. Our targets this midweek are going to be the WBA Weekly $59-57.50 Puts, which may be helped along by a lackluster February Durable Orders report this morning.
_____

Cabot Corp. CBT – In this case, we simply like the technical setup of the chart. If CBT makes the kind of rebound it appears to want to make, we are going to see some solid opportunities out of the CBT 05/17 $40 Calls.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: PSMT Review & More

Pricesmart, Inc. PSMT

On Friday morning, we selected a pair of contracts in the PSMT options chain, and we want to start off this new trading week by updating our readers on the excellent progress those calls made.

Our targets were the PSMT 04/20 $80 & $85 Calls and some very nice intraday gains were posted on both counts. The $80 Calls made their way from a low of 5.12 up to 10.98 for a move of 114% while The $85’s traded up fromĀ  2.50 to 6.70, marking a 168% rip.

NII Holdings, Inc. NIHD

We also want to look back on the recent performance of NIHD. We placed this stock on watch in our report from the morning of February 28th, and after seeing its low the following day, the stock hasn’t looked back since.

From that low, which came in at 1.115 (03/01), NIHD has gradually pressed its way up as high as Friday’s mark of 2.6092, which represents a 134% swing in the course of five trading weeks.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: WMT Calls & More

Walmart, Inc. WMT

After a period of a couple of trading sessions where WMT has taken considerable abuse on the chart. After appearing to be gearing up to make an impressive run, the stock gapped down considerably on Tuesday and the backslide persisted through yesterday.

This major selloff has brought the stock down to its lowest PPS since November, and had us thinking about a range of calls to slate for observation in the days and weeks ahead. We’re going to signal the WMT 03/16 $90-93 Calls, which should be in line for some solid activity if Walmart mounts the recovery that, at this point, looks very possible.

Hertz Global Holdings, Inc. HTZ

We would like to put HTZ on watch as a possible bounce play this morning. As you can see on the included chart snapshot, the stock is giving off a strong double-bottom signal, and just fell below its 200DMA yesterday.

We’re going to monitor the activity here closely, because as you can see, there is a considerable amount of room to run to the upside, and the stock has been approaching heavily oversold territory.

___________

Avis Budget Group, Inc. CAR

While we’re on the subject of car rental agencies, our eye has also been caught by Avis, whose stock just came down to an area of trendline support, and also posted a Q4 earnings beat.

We’re going to look for opportunities in the CAR 03/16 $42-44 Calls in coming sessions.
