Recaps from the Short Week, Fresh Plays

Options Recaps:

Our options idea for the TWTR chain from Thursday morning’s premarket report returned good intraday results despite the stock trending in the wrong direction. The markets were subdued on Thursday, but that also played well into the bearish ideas we had signaled in the two sessions prior. On Tuesday we signaled some puts in the KMX chain, and on Wednesday, we added JPM to the mix. In both cases, Thursday’s session brought new highs for us.

Our exact targets were the TWTR 04/14 $47-49 Calls, the JPM Weekly $129-127 Puts, and the KMX Weekly $105-97.50 Puts, and here are the updated figures on the moves we observed in those plays:

Exponential Gains on LULU Options & More

Major Options Movers:

We absolutely crushed it with our earnings plays once again yesterday, signaling a trio of related options ideas in our premarket report. Despite a mixed, yet primarily down day for the markets, the volatility provided by these companies’ earnings drops powered some significant positive intraday movement.

We were targeting the LULU Weekly $360-370 Calls, the MU Weekly $82-85 Calls, and the BNTX Weekly $182.50-187.50 Calls, and of course they all produced solid opportunities for us. Additionally, we have an update on the DOOO 04/14 $70-75 Calls  which we signaled for observation on Friday morning, and have since tacked on more new highs.

The breakdown of those single session gainers as well as that 4-day swinger are as follows:

LULU Weekly $360-370 Calls
$360:
 7.50-26.41 (+252%)

Solid Hitters Across the Board:

Our options trading prowess continues to assert itself as we head into this midweek. You could probably count the amount of bad ideas we’ve had all year on one hand. For the vast majority of the selections we make, the profits have been there for the taking, and the targets we hashed out in yesterday’s premarket report were no exception.

We were focused on the SPY 03/30 $457-460 Calls, the ASO Weekly $38-40 Calls, and the LOVE 04/14 $50-55 Calls on the day, and there wasn’t a single contract set contained within those ranges which failed to provide substantial intraday gain chances for our readers.

Here are the trading ranges and the figures for total possible gains on those ideas:

SPY 03/30 $457-460 Calls
$457:
 4.59-7.15 (+56%)

SPY Calls Rip, Rolling Up to Stay with the Action

1st Thousand Percent Gainer of the Year!

We put our best foot forward yesterday morning despite having no earnings to work off of, and made our first fresh options selections of 2022. They both ended up producing positive movement on the day yesterday, with the SPY clearly taking the cake and giving us our first thousand percent gainer of the new year! While these plays don’t happen every day, we had quite a lot of thousand percenters over the course of last year, and we’re off to a promising start for this one!

Our plays were the SPY 01/03 $476-478 Calls and the FB Weekly $337.50-340 Calls, and it was the SPY that produced those mega gain opportunities as the markets put up an excellent performance on the day. Here are the total possible profits that could have been booked off of those ideas:

SPY 01/03 $476-478 Calls
$476:
.28-1.82 (+550%)
$477: .10-.93 (+830%)
$478: .03-.35 (+1067%)
_____

FB Weekly $337.50-340 Calls
$337.50: 7.10-8.85 (+27%)
$340: 5.90-7.45 (+26%)
_____

Fresh Options Idea:
SPY 01/05 478-480 Calls

V Group Inc. VGID – Recap:

We would also like to relay a brief update on an OTC stock we’ve been tracking over the past few sessions. We signaled VGID for observation in our premarket report on Friday morning, and the stock has responded with a double bag move. From a low of .0011, VGID hit .0022 for a nice round 100% run, and did so on a relatively large amount of volume.

Engage Mobility, Inc. ENGA – Review:

Switching gears over to the stock side of things, we have been tracking this OTC play for a little over a month, and the move it made is most definitely noteworthy.

ENGA began appearing in our extended watchlists last month on November 9th, and subsequent to that, was trading for as little as .131. This week, the stock shot out of a cannon and climbed as high as 2.55, which works out to a mega-increase of 1847%
