Options Review, EXLA News Update

Markets Rip, Options Go Along for the Ride:

Wrapping Up a Solid Trading Week

Options Recap:

It was a treacherous day for the markets yesterday, with the vast majority of big board stocks pulling back, but we still managed to go two for three on options ideas despite signaling calls across the board.

The two ideas that recorded notable intraday moves before falling off into the close, were the NOW Weekly $530-540 Calls, and the TSLA Weekly $930-945 Calls. Oftentimes post-earnings plays will still provide such opportunities even if they can’t sustain the momentum, which is exactly why we base most of our targets around quarterly reporters on a given day.

Here are the early moves registered by the above mentioned targets:

NOW Weekly $530-540 Calls
$530:
 4.60-10.59 (+130%)
$535: 3.11-8.70 (+180%)
$540: 2.00-5.60 (+180%)
_____

TSLA Weekly $930-945 Calls
$930: 7.43-11.12 (+50%)
$935: 3.41-5.77 (+69%)
$940: 3.05-5.06 (+66%)
$945: 2.77-4.48 (+62%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
SPY 01/28 $430 Puts
AAPL Weekly $165 Puts
CAT Weekly $210-207.50 Puts
V Weekly $212.50-217.50 Calls

*Please use extreme caution when trading options on their day of expiration. It should only be attempted by experienced traders with access to disposable funds
