Blue Horseshoe Stocks: CVS, CRON Updates

Cronos Group, Inc. CRON – Update

It was just yesterday morning that we highlighted CRON, and the solid moves the stock has been making off of its swing low of 6.50 from last week. The impressive rebound continued for another day, with yesterday’s sesison bringing a respectable intraday move and a significant increase in our observed range on the stock over the past week.

From its daily low of 8.15 the stock reached a new high of 9.58, which works out to an 18% intraday hike. From our observed low from last week, we’ve now witnessed a move up of 47% It marked the sixth consecutive bullish session for CRON, which fell just shy of testing its current 50DMA, now standing at 10.25.

We had also signaled our interest in tracking the CRON Weekly $8 & $8.50 Calls in yesterday’s premarket report, and that idea provided opportunities as well. The $8 Calls went on an impressive intraday run from .50-1.55 for a gain of 210%, while the $8.50’s pushed their way up from a low of .30 and reached 1.15, a 283% rip!

Today’ we’ll look to possibly roll up to the $9 & $9.50 Calls on CRON if it appears its run will continue.

CVS Health Corp. CVS

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: TSN Recap & More

Tyson Foods Inc. TSN – Update

We started the week off yesterday by formulating some options ideas for TSN. The company had a mixed earnings call, with a beat on Q3 profits, and a miss on sales. We pointed to the technical setup of the chart as our primary reason for being interested, and as it turns out we called the bottom perfectly.

We came up with a short and longer term set of ideas, and while we may yet come back to the long terms, we are looking at the weekly calls we designated today after some solid performances. Those were the TSN Weekly $58-59.50 Calls, and all but the $58’s produced double-bag gains on the session.

$58.50 Calls – Range: .90-2.25 – Max Gain: 150%
$59 Calls – Range: .80-1.68 – Max Gain: 110%
$59.50 Calls – Range: .75-1.50 – Max Gain: 100%

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: HEAR Review & More

Turtle Beach Corp. HEAR – Review

Our primary focus has always been to find near-term trading opportunities first, assigning longer-term calls a secondary priority. However, we’ve had quite a bit of good fortune this year in identifying stocks that have gone on to have considerable extended runs.

HEAR is one such stock, that we first signaled for observation on April 9th, at which time the stock was trading for as little as 2.76. Over the ensuing nine weeks, we have seen an incredible, near-continuous bull run that has resulted in new highs of 23.20 yesterday. That works out to an increase of 740% over a span of a little over two months!

Being in blue skies, there’s no telling what new highs we might see in HEAR; it’s certainly plausible to believe we may see our total observed gain reach a thousand percent at some point in the near future. At the rate things have been going, it’s certainly not an unreasonable thought.

H&R Block, Inc. HRB – Fresh Idea

We also want to provide a quick update on our bearish options idea from yesterday’s premarket report, the HRB Weekly $26-24 Puts. We formulated this range after noticing the stock getting kicked hard despite posting an earnings beat in the post-market on Tuesday.

HRB did gap down a little too far for the $26’s to see much action, but we had respectable chances to profit off of the other two contracts in the range. The $25 Puts ran from .65-1.05 for a gain of 62%, while the $24’s put up a double-bag performance with a 133% rip from .15-.35.

Galectin Therapeutics, Inc. GALT

We tagged GALT on Tuesday morning after noticing a big surge in activity, and its run has continued nicely over the course of the week.

We’ve now observed a solid 37% bullish move from 5.83-8.00, and will be on the lookout for the possibility of more new highs.
