Tuesday’s Rock Solid Outing, 5-Pack of New Ideas

Another Rock Solid Trading Day:

We ended up in really good shape yesterday following our premarket report, which included a selection of three possible options trading ideas. Once again, we hit on a full slate of winners, sweeping the board with some really nice gains. It has come to the point where we expect success, as it is far more rare that our ideas fail to present any notable gain chances on a given day. Of course, we would never purport to have the impossible ability of always being spot-on, we certainly do hit our daily marks a vast majority of the time.

Yesterday’s targeted plays were the GTLB Weekly $59-61 Calls, the GIII 12/15 $30 Calls, and the FERG 12/15 $170-175 Calls. Here were the the total possible profits that could have been attained off of those ideas:

Wrapping Up the Short Trading Week with New Ideas

Options Reviews:

In an extremely rare occurrence, neither of the targets we were looking at in yesterday’s report turned in worthwhile performances on the day. We really can’t recall the last time that happened, if ever, but as we always say, nobody can win them all. Instead of reviewing those, we have updates on a handful of longer term plays that we’ve recently flagged.

We initially selected the PDCO 07/21 $31-33 Calls in our report on June 21st, the KBH 07/21 $50 Puts in the following day’s report, and the PAYX 07/21 $110-115 Calls on the morning of June 29th. Here are the figures on the upswings and new highs we’ve seen from these plays this week.

PDCO 07/21 $31-33 Calls
$31: .15-2.35 (+1467%)
$32: .10-1.50 (+1400%)

KBH 07/21 $50 Puts
$50: .08-2.05 (+2462%)
_____

PAYX 07/21 $110-115 Calls

Huge Selection of Fresh Ideas

Options Review:

We fared reasonable well with our midweek report yesterday morning, after having formulated potential options plays in five chains. With the exception of some longer-term puts in NVO, which may just need some time to come around, those ideas yielded some solid trading chances on the day.

The weekly calls that went on to enjoy those moves, in part due to the massive late-day surge in the markets following the afternoon Fed meeting, were the EA Weekly $113-116 Calls, the TMO Weekly $575-580 Calls, the GSK Weekly $34.50-35 Calls, and the AI Weekly $20-20.50 Calls, and here were the sorts of gains that were there for the taking:

EA Weekly $113-116 Calls
$113:
 1.34-3.80 (+183%)
$114: .96-3.20 (+233%)
$115: .63-2.25 (+257%)
$116: .40-1.70 (+325%)
_____

TMO Weekly $575-580 Calls
$575: 11.08-22.17 (+101%)
$580: 8.13-20.00 (+146%)
_____

GSK Weekly $34.50-35 Calls
$34.50:
 (low volume)
$35:
 .40-.68 (+70%)
