Thursday’s Movers, 3 Ideas to Close Out the Week

Thursday Recap:

Well, we finally made it to the final day of our attempt at a one month streak of good ideas for our daily premarket report. All of yesterday’s targets produced good intraday upswings, and that brings it all down to today. The last time we had a shot at this feat, we missed one idea on the final day, so we’re going to do our very best to make sure that doesn’t happen. We would love to come back on Monday to report our ultimate success!

We got off on a good foot for this holiday-shortened week yesterday with the options possibilities we formulated for our premarket report. Friday’s Multi-Bag Runners, 4 New Possibilities

Big Moves Friday:

We closed out the trading week on Friday in extremely solid fashion, with the ideas we included in our premarket report performing quite well on the day. We set up three possible strike ranges in three targets, and each of the contracts therein yielded multibag intraday runs. That’s exactly how we like to close out a trading week, and things went swimmingly.

Our designated ideas were the SONY Weekly $19.20-19.60 Calls, the ABNB Weekly $139-137 Puts, and the ANET Weekly $405-400 Puts. Here were the biggest upswings they logged for Friday’/s session:

Friday’s Big Gainers, 3 Fresh Plays

Close, But No Cigar:

Well, we NEARLY did what we set out to do on Friday, which was to seal our fourth straight week of nothing but successful daily options picks. We offered up four possibilities, and three of them delivered. Unfortunately our targets in the INTU chain were simply too deep in the money to trade volume by the time the opening bell rang. However, 19 days without a bad idea is still an absolutely incredible feat, and we’re very proud of it.

Our premarket report winners for the session were the SPY 08/23 $557-559 Calls, the WDAY Weekly $260-265 Calls, and the CAVA Weekly $108-110 Calls. The gains they produced more than made up for missing on a single idea:

SPY 08/23 $557-559 Calls
$557:
 1.47-5.61 (+282%)
$557.50: 1.20-5.16 (+330%)
$558: .95-4.69 (+394%)
$559: .58-3.56 (+514%)
_____

WDAY Weekly $260-265 Calls
$260: .20-1.16 (+480%)
$265: .20-.45 (+125%)
_____

CAVA Weekly $108-110 Calls
$108:
 3.73-17.43 (+367%)
$109: 4.02-15.57 (+287%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
SPY 08/26 $562-563 Calls

Wrapping Up the Short Trading Week with New Ideas

Options Reviews:

In an extremely rare occurrence, neither of the targets we were looking at in yesterday’s report turned in worthwhile performances on the day. We really can’t recall the last time that happened, if ever, but as we always say, nobody can win them all. Instead of reviewing those, we have updates on a handful of longer term plays that we’ve recently flagged.

We initially selected the PDCO 07/21 $31-33 Calls in our report on June 21st, the KBH 07/21 $50 Puts in the following day’s report, and the PAYX 07/21 $110-115 Calls on the morning of June 29th. Here are the figures on the upswings and new highs we’ve seen from these plays this week.

PDCO 07/21 $31-33 Calls
$31: .15-2.35 (+1467%)
$32: .10-1.50 (+1400%)
$33: .15-.85 (+467%)
_____

KBH 07/21 $50 Puts
$50: .08-2.05 (+2462%)
_____

PAYX 07/21 $110-115 Calls
$110:
 1.76-4.40 (+150%)
$115: .30-1.17 (+290%)
