Retail Recaps, Fresh Options Ideas

Holiday Week Wrap-Up:

After a restful weekend following the Thanksgiving holiday, we’re ready to hop back into the saddle, and ride out in search of opportunity once again. We’ve been a little short on earnings reporters lately, which is not atypical for the holiday season and may very well persist into the new year. We’ll continue to make do however we can, like we did on Friday with a pair of retail plays in WMT and TGT. We expect to be seeing a lot of the retail space over the next several weeks.

As for Friday’s targets for the half day, we were focused in on the WMT Weekly $150-152.50 Calls and the TGT Weekly $162.50-165 Calls. Each pair of contracts recorded one relatively nominal gain and one big, impressive multibag run for us.

Big Options Runners, Fresh Plays

Options Recaps:

We got back onto the track of options perfection yesterday, with our premarket report containing ideas for the chains of three big name earnings reporters. Despite a choppy and lackluster session for the markets in general, there was plenty of good volatility and intraday movement in our selected plays for ourselves and our readers to benefit greatly.

The trio of potential plays we were focused on for the day yesterday were the LOW Weekly $210-215 Calls, the AAP Weekly $160-155 Puts, and the TGT Weekly $157.50-152.50 Puts. The LOW and AAP targets were the main runners, posting multibag gains across the board. The TGT Puts didn’t run quite so hard but still recorded some very respectable intraday runs.
