New Highs on KNOS, Options Idea

SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) Options Recap

For the readers who may have only recently found our site or subscribed to our daily mailing list, we commonly use the SPY as our go-to market analogue. When we’re hoping to prey upon the general sentiment of a given day or week, quick-strike SPY options are how we most often accomplish this.

Yesterday was one such day, as we kicked off the fresh trading week by signaling interest in the SPY Weekly $319-320 Calls. Right out of the gate, and until lunch hour, the SPY ran with the markets, and provided us with some very nice intraday gain opportunities:

SPY Weekly $319-320 Calls
$319: 2.42-4.67 (+93%)
$320: 1.86-3.91 (+110%)

Fresh Idea:
BDC 09/18 $30-35 Calls

Kronos Advanced Technologies, Inc. KNOS

The last time we updated readers on the fantastic gainer that has been KNOS was back on June 4th. At the time, we had witnessed a run following our initial April call of the stock (04/20/20) from .011-.1309 (+1090%).

We’re circling back this morning after the stock has yet again soared to new highs. Following our report in June, KNOS consolidated down to a low of .043, before gradually pressing to yesterday’s new high of .24. That works out to a swing of 458% just over the last month, and an overall increase from our initially observed low amounting to a whopping 2082%, making KNOS our top OTC pick of the past few months.

WFC Update, Fresh Idea

TPT Global Tech, Inc. TPTW

We have been hot on the trail of TPTW since the morning of June 30th, at which time the stock was trading at a low of .0235 per share. We continued to mention the stock last week on a couple of occassions, as it climbed its way up the chart.

To finish off the week on Friday, TPTW made yet another run to solidify a new high of .0725. That marks a two-week increase on this play amounting to 209% This was just the next stock in a growing line of OTC picks that have fared well for us in recent months.

Wells Fargo & Co. WFC – Options Update

It was this past Tuesday when we formulated an extended term options trading idea for the Wells Fargo chain, signaling interest in tracking the WFC 08/21 $25-27.50 Calls.

So far, we have seen some nice preliminary gains off of that idea, and based on the current setup of the WFC chart, we like the chances of seeing even more progress in that regard over the coming weeks. Here are the total possible gains that could have been achieved on the heels of our July 7th alert::

08/21 $25-27.50 Calls
$25: 1.22-2.15 (+76%)

Recent Performers

S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) – Recap

Our main winner from Friday morning’s premarket report was our idea for the SPY. The markets saw an early rip out of the gate before pulling back, running once again, and eventually tapering off into the close.

As a result of the activity we observed, our designated contract sets experienced two separate and significant surges on the day. Here are the total possible gains afforded by the moves that occurred:

SPY 07/02 $313-314 Calls
$313: 1.88-4.22 (+47%) | .67-1.55 (+47%)
$314: 1.28-2.10 (+49%) | .36-.77 (+47%)

Other Recent Winners:

Plug Power Inc. PLUG – We also want to begin this fresh trading week by re-highlighting PLUG, which we most recently talked about on June 24th. Subsequent to that report, the stock traded for as little as 6.91 a share, and on Friday the stock attained a new high of 9.65. This morning in the premarket we’ve seen shares change hands for 10.09.

That puts our total observed increase on PLUG in under two weeks at a respectable 46% and warrants further attention going forward.
____

Overstock.com Inc. OSTK – Another recent performer we’ve been hot on the trail of is OSTK, which we mentioned quite a bit back in May. Since then, OSTK has done little else other than climb its way to new highs week after week.

When we first alerted on OSTK it was trading at 15.45, and to close out the short week on Thursday, the stock had hit 39.38. That works out to a 2-month upswing of 155%

FDX, STZ Recaps & More

Options Recaps

Most of our luck with the options calls we made this week was good, with very few exceptions. We’re going to wrap up this short trading week by highlighted both of the fresh sets of ideas we formulated in yesterday morning’s premarket report.

We had signaled interest in the FDX 07/02 $149-155 Calls as well as the STZ 07/02 $175-180 Calls and in both cases we saw some really nice intraday movement:

FDX 07/02 $149-155 Calls
$149:
 9.93-14.60 (+47%)
$150: 9.21-13.75 (+49%)
$152.50: 7.21-11.27 (+56%)
$155: 5.09-9.35 (+84%)
_____

STZ 07/02 $175-180 Calls
$175: 6.90-16.60 (+141%)
$177.50: 5.89-12.50 (+112%)
$180: 3.20-9.90 (+209%)

Fresh Options Ideas:

We’ll close the week out with a wide range of ideas to follow, with both near and extended term expirations. For more quick strike opportunities we would first look to earnings play LNN, and to the SPY, with the markets ripping in early trading. For a longer-term track we have AVA and NWN, a couple of bottom-bouncers that are looking technically ripe for more prolonged increases.

LNN 07/17 $95-100 Calls
SPY 07/02 $313-314 Calls
AVA 09/20 $40-45 Calls
NWN 09/20 $ 60-65 Calls

VYST Blows its Lid Again

Vystar Corp. VYST

We’re back to report on our performance with VYST once again this morning. Just yesterday we noted that we had mentioned the stock on both Thursday and Friday, in time to see a 143% run from a low of .0134 to .0325 on Friday. That move occurred on volume of roughly 150 mIllion shares, and led us to point out that we were looking for a continuation of momentum into this week.

Our hunch was confirmed as VYST opened up the week like a beast, smashing its previous two day volume with 311M shares changing hands. The stock soared from a daily low of .0376 and hit .0724, representing an intraday gain of 93%  From our observed low on Thursday, that works out to an overall rise of 440% and justifies our continued inclusion of speculative OTC plays in our daily reports.

Options Ideas

We are going to signal a couple of ideas for AAPL and ADBE this morning on the heels of the revelation that Adobe will be partnering with Apple for its MacOS overhaul. Coupled with a push for the markets on fading trade fears, we could see some nice movement in the following targets, as well as some SPY Calls:

AAPL Weekly $360-365 Calls
ADBE Weekly $435-445 Calls
SPY Weekly $312-315 Calls
