Extended-Term Options Plays Paying Off

Reviewing Winning Ideas:

We typically focus more on options expiring at the end of a given week, there are certainly occasions when we target those with expiration dates weeks, or sometimes even months into the future. Which way it falls is often determined by the setup and conditions in which we find a play.

Today, we’re going to go over the recent moves made by a few of the longer-term options ideas to grace our watchlist recently. We signaled the DRI 07/16 $140-145 Calls in our report last Thursday morning, June 24th, and just a few sessions prior on the morning of the 21st we alerted the TBIO 08/20 $17.50-20 Calls and the MRNA 08/20 $195-210 Calls.

Take a look at the fantastic multi-bag upswings that we’ve witnessed in the short time we’ve been tracking these options:

Marin Software, Inc. MRIN – Recap:

Like a couple of the above-mentioned plays, we signaled MRIN in our report on the morning of June 24th on the basis of the stock alone. We didn’t even need options to leverage with this play as it has continued to soar to new highs.

Yesterday MRIN hit 21.68, which from our observed low of 2.56 registers as an increase 747% of in just a week’s time for this NASDAQ-listed stock!

Green Energy Stocks, Form-4’s, Fresh Options Ideas

Alternative Energy Focus:

At the end of last week, we indicated that we had an interesting alternative energy play to look at this morning. Instead of one, we went ahead and unearthed a trio of companies in the space. In addition to the US rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, it would seem likely that further measures toward curtailing pollution are definitely on the horizon, out of necessity.

We expect to be focusing more and more on “green” plays as time goes on, and society is forced into finding more sustainable and renewable ways to serve its high energy demand. From waste-to-energy, to solar, and everything in between, these are the types of ideas that will endure long after the last drop of fossil fuel has been burned. Today, we’ve selected a variety of different alternative energy stocks trading at very different price points on the OTC Market to spotlight.

Renewable Energy & Power, Inc. RBNW
Last Traded: .0007

Ascent Solar Technologies, Inc. ASTI
:Last Traded: .0177

Clean Energy Technologies, Inc. CETY
Last Traded: .093

We expect to continue building a watchlist of interesting clean and renewable energy companies going forward, as the need for them grows in an increasingly energy hungry world.

Athira Pharma, Inc. ATHA

We also caught ATHA this morning as a stock with a solid setup on the chart, along with some recent insider buying near its current bottom. Just a month a ago the stock was trading close to $35, and has recently been showing signs of a bottom bounce down here in the $21-22 area.

In addition to a topside gap on the chart, ATHA is currently seeing its MACD converging for a bullish cross, so we’re definitely going to put this one on watch.

Multibag Gains Coming Left and Right

Galaxy Next Generation, Inc. GAXY

To kick things off today, here is an OTC play we’ve recently been tracking that has absolutely blown its top.  Our initial tag of GAXY came on July 14th, and we came back for updates a few times throughout the course of August, and while it was already an impressive play, the new highs it has hit this week have pushed it to another level.

Our observed low on GAXY subsequent to our first alert on the stock came in at ,0025. After several weeks of positive movement, GAXY has now hit a new high of .0599. Overall that counts for an exceptional increase of 2296%
