Continued Options Excellence, Fresh Plays

A Perfect Wednesday:

We got right back into the groove of perfect options plays on Wednesday, with our premarket report for the day containing no less than five fresh ideas for our readers’ consideration. Despite a choppy day from the markets in general, we were able to see some pretty nice gain chances in our targeted contracts all the same.

Those movers were the OLLI 12/16 $55-52.50 Puts, the THO 12/16 $85-90 Calls, the CPB Weekly $53-55 Calls, the LOVE 12/16 $25-22.50 Puts and the SPY 12/07 $393-392 Puts. As we said, we may have cast a wide net here, but it wouldn’t have mattered which way you angled because there were plenty of big fish to land! We also have an update on CLNV, which is a stock that we alerted on in our extended watchlist on November 1st. Subsequent to that report, we would observe a low of .0193. Yesterday, CLNV touched a new high of .0924, which marks a run of 379% in the month of November.

With the holiday season upon us, it’s going to begin to become more of a struggle in terms of our typical tactics of trading options on the heels of big name earnings reports. But rest assured, we’re still going to keep our noses to the grindstone just like we always do, looking for interesting technical setups, Form-4 alerts, big news, and more.

Yesterday’s quick strike target was the sole earnings reporter of the day to catch our fancy, Chinese online retail giant, Pinduoduo. We targeted the PDD Weekly $73-76 Calls and those contracts all posted notable intraday moves for us, and with the activity we’re seeing in the premarket, we will be expecting to have to return to these targets tomorrow to report further increases.

We also wanted to do another update on COSM, a stock which has been appearing in our extended watchlists regularly since October 26th. In this span of just over a month, we’ve seen an incredible run that just keeps going. From our initially observed low of .0675, the high we’ve seen in the premarket this morning at .8864 marks an astonishing 1213%

Holiday Week Wrap-Up:

After a restful weekend following the Thanksgiving holiday, we’re ready to hop back into the saddle, and ride out in search of opportunity once again. We’ve been a little short on earnings reporters lately, which is not atypical for the holiday season and may very well persist into the new year. We’ll continue to make do however we can, like we did on Friday with a pair of retail plays in WMT and TGT. We expect to be seeing a lot of the retail space over the next several weeks.

As for Friday’s targets for the half day, we were focused in on the WMT Weekly $150-152.50 Calls and the TGT Weekly $162.50-165 Calls. Each pair of contracts recorded one relatively nominal gain and one big, impressive multibag run for us.
