Four Winning Plays, More Fresh Ideas

Sweeping Options Success:

We have never purported to be perfect when it comes to unearthing potential plays on a daily basis. Nobody can win them all, but we certainly come as close as humanly possible as often as we can. In instances like yesterday morning’s premarket report, we enjoyed perfection for the targets we chose. We set up four pins, and bowled a strike for the session!

We were looking at the TWTR Weekly $34-34.50 Calls, the DAL Weekly $30.50-29.50 Puts, the FAST Weekly $52.50-50 Puts, and the SPY 07/13 $378-375 Puts, and thanks in part to a mixed bag trading session for markets in general, we got excellent results from our bullish and bearish plays. Recaps from the Short Week, Fresh Plays

Options Recaps:

Our options idea for the TWTR chain from Thursday morning’s premarket report returned good intraday results despite the stock trending in the wrong direction. The markets were subdued on Thursday, but that also played well into the bearish ideas we had signaled in the two sessions prior. On Tuesday we signaled some puts in the KMX chain, and on Wednesday, we added JPM to the mix. In both cases, Thursday’s session brought new highs for us.

Our exact targets were the TWTR 04/14 $47-49 Calls, the JPM Weekly $129-127 Puts, and the KMX Weekly $105-97.50 Puts, and here are the updated figures on the moves we observed in those plays:

TWTR 04/14 $47-49 Calls
$47:
 .26-.84 (+223%)
$48: .16-.55 (+243%)

$128: .92-2.97 (+223%)
$127: .67-1.93 (+188%)
_____

KMX Weekly $105-97.50 Puts
$105: 4.50-12.90 (+187%)
