Big-Time Bangers & More

GBX, ARWR, LEVI Options Reviews :

To kick things off this morning, we will of course be going over successful options calls from last week that ended things on Friday with new highs. We like when our pattern of behavior is predictable, because that means we’ve been doing things correctly.

Our daily targets usually yield interesting performances over a short span and the following plays were no different. On Friday our tag of the GBX 07/16 $40 Calls and Tuesday morning’s tag on the ARWR 07/16 $65 Calls

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Bottom Watch Plays

Inspired Entertainment Inc. INSE

The markets had a really rough go of things on Friday which caused problems for many, if not most, stocks. INSE was among those few that managed to buck the trend, as the stock continued to exhibit bottom-bounce characteristics. That’s why we wanted to place INSE on recovery watch, just on the heels of its quarterly report.

The overseas virtual sports gaming company relayed considerable revenue growth for the period, while outlining its intent to penetrate further into the North American markets. INSE is going to be an interesting play to watch into the New Year, as it already received positive feedback from a trial run with the Pennsylvania lottery.

______

InSys Therapeutics, Inc. INSY

Speaking of bottom plays, the similarly-designated INSY also just caught our eye this morning with an attractive bottom-play setup in the works.

As you can see from the included snapshot of this one, the stock is quite oversold, and has established a fairly solid level of support from which a considerable rebound may be possible.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: AAPL Options & More

Lumber Liquidators Holdings Inc. LL – Recap
Although LL did gap up a lot higher than expected to start the session, and larger gains would have been available at higher strike prices closer to the money, but most of our listed targets, the LL Weekly $27.50-29.50 Calls, still managed to see some solid intraday moves.

Those potential gains, including a double-bagger by the $28’s, were as follows:

$27.50 Calls – Range: 3.00-5.50 – Max Gain: 83%
$28 Calls – Range: 2.30-5.00 – Max Gain: 117%
$28.50 Calls – Range: 3.36-4.27 – Max Gain: 27%
$29 Calls – Range: 2.00-3.70 – Max Gain: 85%

Apple, Inc. AAPL

With AAPL breaking out to new all-time highs in the premarket this morning, after a strong earnings report was more than enough to assuage any concerns about lagging iPhone sales, we’re going to want to try to get in on the fun.

AAPL is gearing up to the point that it may also drive the DOW to the 22,000 level, causing a cascading effect that should make for an interesting week for traders across the board.

As for us, we’re going to be tracking the AAPL Weekly $155-162.50 Calls on the heels of this premarket mega-push that has thus far yielded a high of $160 on the nose.

Amarin Corp plc AMRN

We also want to take note of AMRN, which recently took a fair beating on the chart, and is showing clear signs of a reversal.

We also want to signal some calls in that options chain as well as watching the stock itself. The AMRN Weekly $4 Calls will be the options we put on our radar.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Double-Bottom Watchlist & More

Double-Bottom Watchlist

We like to look for potential rebound plays in stocks that are displaying a double bottom formation on the chart, and we’ve got three such candidate to add to a recovery watchlist this morning.

InVivo Therapeutics Holding Corp. NVIV, Stein Mart,Inc. SMRT, and Sportsman’s Warehouse Holdings, Inc. SPWH have all begun to trend off of a level of support that has been established on one or more previous occasions. We’ll want to monitor this trio in the days and weeks ahead for possible sustained recoveries.

StarBucks Corp. SBUX – Options Idea

Shares of SBUX really came crashing down this morning, all the way to the $55-level, the lowest PPS since March. We’ll be looking to take advantage of a possible forthcoming rebound when the smoke clears.

SBUX has demonstrated solid support in the $54-area earlier this year, so we’ll look for it to hold there or above on this plummet that comes even as analysts are reporting a good outlook.

Once a rebound begins to materialize, we could see some noteworthy activity in the SBUX 08/18 $54-55 Calls.
