Stock and Options Recaps, Fresh Plays

Monday’s Runners:

We opened up the fresh trading week yesterday on solid footing, having formulated three options trading ideas in our premarket report. All three of those plays produced admirable intraday runs for us, continuing one heck of a run of success for our daily selections record.

The plays of the day for Monday were the SPY 08/08 $414-416 Calls, the CVNA Weekly $47.50-48.50 Calls, and the PLTR Weekly $10.50-10 Puts. While the gains were not eye-popping in comparison to some of the other huge runners we’ve hit on in the past week, they were still quite solid.

Options Recap, 4 Fresh Ideas & More

Thursday’s Options Review:

We’re ready to wrap up another trading week today, and it was a heck of solid one for us on the options front. We were bearish on most of our highlighted ideas for the day, and the markets took a serious dive in the second half of the session, which facilitated some kind gains. However, our one bullish target bucked the overall trend and delivered some notable intraday moves as well, so all in all it was a pretty good outing.

The winning targets that we were focusing our attention upon were the SIG Weekly $65-67 Calls, the BILI Weekly $27.50-26.50 Puts, and the NIO Weekly $20.50-19.50 Puts. The potential gains they yielded for the session were very respectable, and went as follows:

SIG Weekly $65-67 Calls
$65:

Playing the SPY Like a Fiddle, Fresh Ideas

SPY Calls Surge on Market Pop:

We had just some daily SPY Calls and a longer term idea in yesterday morning’s premarket report, the latter of which isn’t really primed for an immediate update, but we most certainly came down on the right side of the fence with the SPY. The markets ripped all day long, and provided us with the catalyst for some really nice intraday gain opportunities.

We were tracking the SPY 05/23 $391-393 Calls, and all three of the contract sets contained within recorded huge multibag runs for us. The total possible daily gains were as follows:

SPY 05/23 $391-393 Calls
$391:
 2.04-6.82 (+234%)
$392: 1.58-5.81 (+268%)
$393: 1.19-5.05 (+324%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
NTES Weekly $98-100 Calls
WOOF Weekly $15-16 Calls
ZM Weekly $91.50-93 Calls

Watchlist Runners:

We saw some solid movement out of some of the plays off of yesterday morning’s extended watchlist. CBIO ran following the announcement of a $60M asset sale to Vertex, while GOVX was another stock boosted by the rising concerns over monkeypox, which has officially made its way to the US, and seems to a hot-button catalyst for related plays at the moment. .

Clean Sweep on Options Plays:

We have really been lighting up the board with some fantastic options ideas of late, with a VAST majority of the targets we formulate on a daily basis yielding super intraday opportunities. Our targets were the DE Weekly $352.50-360 Calls, the FUTU Weekly $54-57 Calls, and the HPQ Weekly $33-35 Calls, and once again, there were huge profit chances across the board. Here are the total possible intraday profits that could have been banked off of those ideas.
