Monday’s Results, Trio of Fresh Ideas

Options Recaps:

We produced a mixed bag of results yesterday, with the some of options ideas we had in our premarket report failing to meet our own standards, while other experienced some really nice intraday runs. In the interest of not sugarcoating a clear miscalculation, we went the wrong way on the SPY for the day, and saw just a brief and minimal spike. Fortunately, our other target chains yielded some much nicer moves.

In all, we had the SPY 09/22 $663-662 Puts, the MTSR 10/17 $50 Calls, and the ODP 10/17 $26-28 Calls on our daily radar, and these were the biggest moves logged by each one:

Tuesday’s Results, A Pair of Fresh Targets

Tuesday’s Big Movers:

After some less-than-astounding gains in our ideas from Monday, we really got into gear on Tuesday with the options targets we posted in our premarket report for the session. The potential gains that came with each of them were much more on the level that we expect from ourselves. Three out of four of our tracked contract sets yielded multibag moves, with the fourth falling just shy of double bag territory.

Our interests for the session were the SPY 09/16 $661-662 Calls, the FERG Weekly $230 Calls, and the PLAY Weekly $20 Puts. Here were the best upticks on those plays:

SPY 09/16 $661-662 Calls
$661:
 .11-.27 (+145%)
$662: .02-.06 (+200%)
_____

FERG Weekly $230 Calls
