Monday’s Runners, 4 New Potential Plays

Monday’s Options Activity:

We got things off to a good start for the week on Monday, with our premarket report containing three possible options targets, and we weren’t disappointed with the resulting activity. It was a solid way to start off what is likely to be a characteristically laid-back holiday trading season. We don’t expect to see many earnings plays until the second week of January, so we’ll be going off premarket volume and chart set-up plays until then.

Yesterday’s interests were the ABVX 01/16 $130-135 Calls, the TSLA Weekly $485-490 Calls, and the UNF Weekly $220 Weekly, and here were the best intraday runs made by each one:

Monday’s Movers, 3 New Possibilities

Monday’s Solid Start:

We put together another solid premarket report yesterday, containing a pair of potential plays that turned in a pretty good ticket on the day. The markets got off to a choppy start for the week and it played into our bearish hands nicely. We are expecting something of a turnaround today so we’ll be hopping over to the bullish side of the fence for today’s targets.

As for yesterday’s couple of ideas, here were the intraday upswings we saw from the NVDA Weekly $127-125 Puts, and the SOFI Weekly $16-15.50 Puts:

NVDA Weekly $127-125 Puts
$127:
4.08-11.87 (+191%)
$126: 3.73-11.12 (+198%)
$125: 3.22-10.37 (+222%)
_____

SOFI Weekly $16-15.50 Puts
$16:
.49-.64 (+31%)
$15.50: .26-.38 (+46%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
NVDA Weekly $121-123 Calls
RCL Weekly $245-250 Calls

Options Recaps, 4 Fresh Plays

Tuesday Review:

While we wouldn’t exactly call yesterday’s a session a rousing success, we did signal three sets of options ideas in yesterday morning’s premarket report.and all three did manage to register significant intraday upswings. They just weren’t all the major multibag runners that we’re always aiming for, and are very accustomed to finding on a routine basis. Still, it was a board sweep and some fairly good results, so we have no complaints.

Our daily offerings were the SPY 08/27 $560 Puts, the NVDA Weekly $125 Calls, and the TCOM 09/20 $45-50 Calls. These were the biggest runs they posted for Tuesday:

SPY 08/27 $560 Puts
$560:
 .29-1.06 (+265%)

NVDA Weekly $125 Calls
$125:
 6.40-9.05 (+41%)

TCOM 09/20 $45-50 Calls
$45:
 1.70-2.45 (+44%)
$50: .30-.55 (+83%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
AMBA Weekly $62-64 Calls
BOX Weekly $30-31 Calls
CHWY Weekly $26-27 Calls
ANF Weekly $150-148 Puts

Good Start to a Fresh Week:

We were pretty pleased with the level of performance from the trio of possible options targets that we highlighted in yesterday morning’s report. We’re all set to make a strong run into labor day weekend, and will take whatever the markets give us.
