Big Play Wednesday, 6-Pack of New Ideas

Big Play Wednesday:

Perhaps some of our newer readers thought we were exaggerating in yesterday morning’s report, when we mentioned how common it is for us sweep the board perfectly with our daily options plays. They wouldn’t have been under the wrong impression for very long, and yet again, all four of the selections we made in the premarket went on to make big moves.

We were on the bearish side of the fence with all of them, which were the SPY 01/25 $398-396 Puts, the BA Weekly $210-205 Puts, the MSFT Weekly $240-235 Puts, and the NEE 02/17 $80-77.50 Puts.  With the markets gapping down and sliding in the first hour, we were able to see the following ranges and total possible profits from these ideas:

Friday’s Options Runners:

We hope everyone enjoyed the last long weekend until the holidays, and is as ready as we are to hop back into trading action. We ended last week on a fairly positive note, having selected three potential options targets for observation and observing considerable gains in each of them. We are now seeing a considerable drop-off in daily reporters after what was an amazing earning season, but as always, we’ll seek out opportunities and make them work for us!

Our targets from Friday morning’s premarket report worked for us, and they were the AVGO Weekly $495-510 Calls, the LULU Weekly $315-322.50 Calls, and the HCP 09/16 $35-40 Calls. The LULU targets in the low end of the range were our biggest winners of the session, making moves that topped 300%

Options Reviews:

Another day, another bunch of solid calls! The fresh play we offered up yesterday morning was with the SPY 01/05 $478-480 Calls. We had rolled up from a lower strike area after Monday’s targets in the SPY burst onto the scene with a thousand percent gainer.
