Blue Horseshoe Stocks: TROV Recap & More

TrovaGene, Inc. TROV

We wanted to swing back around this morning for a stock that we mentioned on Monday of last week. We said we’d want to have it on watch in later sessions, as the company had just released news of a service agreement with pharma giant AstraZeneca.

There was a slight pullback off of the initial spike that the announcement caused that day, and TROV found support at a low of .85. This morning the stock has reached as high as 1.35 in the premarket, which marks a rise of 59% over the lows we observed last week.

We want to continue to keep an eye on TROV and see it make higher highs and higher lows. If the stock can hold at or above previous resistance at 1.20 on any pullbacks, it’ll be a positive signal.

Marathon Patent Group, Inc. MARA

Hitting our radars as a bottom-bouncer this morning is MARA, which popped up yesterday with its first significantly bullish session in quite some time. It had been pretty well oversold for months, as you can see on the accompanying chart snapshot.

We’ll be interested to see if MARA can put together a multi-day trend, or if yesterday’s move was an aberration. The first step will be a breach of the current 50DMA at .40, which also coincides with an an area of considerable previous resistance.

_____

Highway Holdings Ltd. HIHO – Another potential bottom play we wanted to quickly point out this morning is HIHO. We’ve noticed that the stock has come up off of a double-bottom formation and has been holding support well at the 3.30 level over the past few sessions. We’ll look for it to continue to do so.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options, MHRC Updates & More

Magnum Hunter Resources, Inc. MHRC

We’ll kick things off this morning by updating everyone as to the status of MHRC, which we placed in Monday’s premarket report as a bottom-watch play. We really couldn’t have timed our alert any better, and after registering a low of .021 Monday, the stock has made continuous progression throughout the week.

Yesterday, after seeing a low of .0257, MHRC ran as high as .0337, marking an intraday move of 31% As measured from our observed low on Monday, yesterday’s high represents a three-session swing of 60%

We’ll continue to remain interested in MHRC in sessions to come provided it continues to establish higher lows as it has been doing. As we’ve pointed out on the following chart snapshot, a number of factors lead us to believe that upside potential remains high with this play. The stock was beaten back vigorously earlier this month, and there are even a couple of gaps to fill on the chart.

Options Updates

We’d now like to update our readers on our options ideas from Tuesday, which included targets in the WMT and HD chains- Yesterday we stated our belief that action in WMT and HD stocks could provide options traders with further opportunities for swing trades and as it happened, we were right.

Walmart-Stores Inc. WMT – For WMT the bullish run continued, and some of the contracts we were observing recorded substantial intraday moves. Possible gains ranged from the $58 Weekly Calls, which traded in a range from 1.81-3.06, allowing for gains of up to 69%, to the $60’s which ran from .26 to 1.16 for a huge 316% rip.

___

The Home Depot, Inc HD executed a textbook dip-and-rip rallying into the close, and all of the contracts we originally signaled made big swings:

$123 Calls – Trading Range: 2.10-3.55  – Max Gain: 69%
$124 Calls – Trading Range: 1.30-2.55  – Max Gain: 96%
$125 Calls – Trading Range: .72-1.73 – Max Gain: 140%
$126 Calls – Trading Range: .33-.99 – Max Gain: 200%

Wednesday’s Other Notable Moves

In addition to the preceding plays, the following pair also made some solid intraday pushes after appearing in our morning report:

Axion Power International, Inc. AXPW turned in a nice intraday performance as it ran from a low of 1.10 to 1.60, for gains of up to 45% on nearly ten times its 30-day average volume.

Advanced Defense Technologies, Inc. ADCF ultimately ended taking a pounding into the close, but before that happened, it made a noteworthy pop straight out of the starting gate, running 39% from .0079 to .011.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Recapping Tuesday’s Epic Session & More

Premier Biomedical, Inc. BIEI

First up this morning is a review of the eye-popping performance of BIEI so far this week. We included it in Monday’s premarket report and the stock ran 180% intraday from .003-.0084 during that session. After a strong close which we felt qualified it a prime momentum-play candidate, we reiterated our interest yesterday morning. BIEI rewarded us yet again!

From the previous day’s closing price of .0077, we witnessed the stock explode to a daily high of .0329, an excellent intraday move of 327% From Monday’s low of .003, the high represents a swing of 997% That puts BIEI just shy of ten-bagger status in a period of only two sessions!

Big cheers go out to any of our readers who were able to take advantage of this play.

VIDEO RECAP:

We’ve prepared a video chart this morning to go over the stellar performance of not only BIEI, but also a couple of other stocks that have recently appeared in our reports that had some nice moves of their own. Lithium Exploration group Inc. LEXG (.096-.19, +98%) and Pleasant Kids, Inc. PLKD (.12-.185, +54%) had both already provided us with huge opportunities heading into yesterday, and both added to those performances in a big way. View this quick video for the full breakdown:

Options Recap

We formulated some options ideas to include in yesterday’s report, and as has become a regular occurrence for us in the options-trading arena, they all went absolutely haywire!

Walmart-Stores Inc. WMT and The Home Depot, Inc HD,were both running on earnings in the premarket and as a result, we called out our interest in WMT Weekly $58-60 Calls and HD Weekly $123-126 Calls. It wouldn’t have mattered which strike prices were chosen by traders, big profits were possible in every single case:

WMT Weeklies
$58 Calls – Trading Range: 1.43-2.90 – Max Gain: 113%
$58.50 Calls – Trading Range: 1.06-2.41 – Max Gain: 127%
$59 Calls – Trading Range: .70-1.96 – Max Gain: 180%
$59.50 Calls – Trading Range: .45-1.50 – Max Gain: 233%
$60 Calls – Trading Range: .25-1.08 – Max Gain: 332%

HD Weeklies
$123 Calls – Trading Range: 1.20-3.36  – Max Gain: 180%
$124 Calls – Trading Range: .82-2.56  – Max Gain: 212%
$125 Calls – Trading Range: .46-1.78 – Max Gain: 287%
$126 Calls – Trading Range: .25-1.05 – Max Gain: 320%

It wasn’t our first spot-on set of options calls that led to chances for epic profits, and you can rest assured that it won’t be our last. For now, both of these options chains could provide us with even further opportunities, although we may need to look at rolling our strike prices up to stay close to the money. Especially in the case of HD, the $127 and possibly $128 Calls may see heavy action; the stock is gapping up again this morning as sector rival Lowes beat on earnings today as well.

BRND, AXLX & Extended Watchlist

Premier Brands, Inc. BRND

BRND continues to impress, for those of you who might have missed our spot-on coverage, let us break it down for you bit by bit:

We caught this play last Thursday morning. We had dug up a PR which stated that NBA legend Dennis Rodman was endorsing a new line of premium vodka with Premier Brands, as well as a series of post-market tweets from Rodman’s Twitter account. Our initial alert that morning would prove to be perfectly timed, as we witnessed an unbelievable run from a low of .0043 all the way up to.0359 the following day.

That 735% move had us on the lookout for an inevitable pullback and bounce, which we stated in last Friday’s morning report. Sure enough, BRND had receded back to close at .0115 on Friday.

Flash forward to Monday morning: We mentioned that we wanted to see BRND hold support above a penny to stay interested. It certainly did, and we were afforded the chance at several subsequent bounce opportunities, the percentage gains of which totaled nearly 200%

That brings us up to yesterday’s activity. As we can see on the intraday chart below, after dipping as low as .014 in the first 75 minutes of trading, it proceeded to attain a high of .022 by lunchtime (+57%). If one chance at a sizable gain wasn’t enough, the stock would pull back to .0155 before pushing to a late-afternoon high-of-day (.0225) and closing strong at .022.

Axiologix, Inc. AXLX

AXLX is another play we’ll be looking at this morning. It’s been awhile since we ran across a sub-penny stock with bottom-play potential.

AXLX is coming off of its low for 2013, and might be a good one to watch as spikes up to 100% higher the current level of .0004 have been recently observed. An influx of volume could easily cause AXLX to test its 200DMA at .0008 if resistance at the 50DMA of .0005 is broken.

You can also take a look at the video chart we prepared on AXLX:
