Closing Out Another Top Flight Week, 3 New Plays

Reviewing Thursday’s Winners:

We couldn’t really be more pleased with our performance yesterday, keeping our record-breaking (for us, anyway) win streak intact for the 14th straight session! We are one good slate of ideas for today, away from sealing our third straight week of nothing but wins! Even more impressive when we factor in that only a single idea on the preceding Friday stands in the way of our being on a MONTH-long string of success! We’re used to our ideas doing quite well on a regular basis, but this latest run has really been stretching the envelope.

Yesterday’s slate consisted of the WMT Weekly $73-75 Calls, the CSCO Weekly $48.50-49.50 Calls, the LITE Weekly $50-52.50 Calls, the DE Weekly $355-360 Calls, and the SPY 08/15 $547-549 Calls. These were the best intraday runs they registered for Thursday’s session:

WMT Weekly $73-75 Calls
$73:
 .36-.75 (+108%)
$74: .11-.22 (+100%)
$75: .04-.14 (+250%)
_____

CSCO Weekly $48.50-49.50 Calls
$48.50: .22-.33 (+50%)
$49: .22-.48 (+118%)
$49.50: .09-.18 (+100%)
_____

LITE Weekly $50-52.50 Calls
$50: 2.01-3.30 (+64%)
$52.50: .63-1.40 (+122%)
_____

$355: 8.65-22.75 (+163%)
$358.50: 7.11-20.55 (+189%)

Bullish and Bearish Options Ideas

Ehang Holdings Ltd. EH – Recap:

Things have been cooling on the options front this week as we struggle through a period of extreme low numbers of daily earnings reporters. It’s the volatility following these earnings dumps that provides us with the big gain chances we’re always after.

We have been managing to find plays here and there, however, and one of our ideas from yesterday morning, the EH Weekly $40-45 Calls, did post some solid intraday gains for us. Out of our pair of designated targets, one achieved multibag status while the other fell just a couple of percentage points short.

Here are the total moves and possible profits on the session for those plays:

EH Weekly $40-45 Calls
$40: 3.98-7.90 (+98%)
$45: 2.34-4.80 (+105%)

Fresh Options Ideas:

We’ll be flipping bearish on ORCL today, and are also taking a longer-term look at SAGE, which has fallen off a cliff this week.

SAGE 08/20 $60-65 Calls

ORCL Weekly $79-77.50 Puts
