Reviewing Tuesday’s Targets:

We had just a couple of fresh ideas on the table for our premarket report yesterday morning, and in both cases we met with solid results. We just crossed the threshold into the 4th Quarter of 2024 yesterday, and we are going through a period of fewer earnings reporters, as is common when a new quarter begins. We’ll just keep chopping wood, and bringing the best ideas we can in the meantime.

As for yesterday’s duo of possibilities, we were tracking the PAYX 10/18 $135 Calls, and the MKC 10/18 $80-85 Calls, and these were the associated intraday results:

Perfect Way to End the Short Week:  

It was a big day for options yesterday, with a huge slate of earnings reporters leading us to formulate a larger-than-usual field of potentials. We offered up SIX fresh trading possibilities in our premarket report, and all six turned in some really nice intraday performances. We went mostly bearish on the day, with just one set of calls to five sets of puts. The results were very pleasing, and it’s a heck of a great way to close out a short trading week!

We went mostly bullish on our earnings plays from yesterday morning’s premarket report, and despite the markets performing horribly yesterday, we still still managed to see some really nice intraday upswings out of our targeted group, toward the end of the session. Lastly, we placed MTRT on watch in yesterday morning’s premarket report, and got instant results in the form of an enormous single-session push from this OTC play.

The stock traded up from a low of .5778 on the day, and reach a high of 5.05, for a whopping intraday move of 774% which came in on more than 18X the 30-day average volume.
