Monday’s Movers, 5 Fresh Ideas

Reviewing Monday’s Runners:

We got things off to a pretty good start for the week yesterday, as we fulfilled our hopes of continuing the excellent run we have been experiencing in recent weeks. Our premarket report for the day included three possibilities, and we observed solid intraday upswings across the board.

Multiple Key Updates, Fresh Options Ideas

SPY Short Proves Tactful:

With the markets looking like they were headed in the wrong direction yesterday morning, we targeted the SPY with a bearish set of options contracts that we slated for observation.

Those targets were the SPY 11/10 $467-465 Puts, and were spot-on in our choice to go for a short on the day. The intraday movement and total possible profits from those ideas were eye-opening, with two out of our three designated plays ripping off gains of more than a thousand percent!

SPY 11/10 $467-465 Puts
$467: .55-4.95 (+800%)
$466: .28-3.90 (+1293%)
$465: .13-3.00 (+2207%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
MQ 11/19 $27.50-30 Calls
WB Weekly $46-48 Calls
AFRM Weekly $162.50-170 Calls

Susglobal Energy Corp. (OTCQB:SNRG) – Update:

We’re circling back around today to provide another update on SNRG, the waste-to-energy company upon which we focused a special report on Monday morning. (>>Read SNRG Report)

We considered SNRG to be at a good spot on the chart, and after just three sessions, it has certainly shown us to be accurate in our assessment. From the low that it registered on Monday, it ran to a high of of .299 yesterday which marks an increase of 53%, and that came on 462,400 shares traded, which comes in at more than twice the 30-day average volume (146,719) in the stock.

Be sure to check out our focus report on SNRG when you get a chance, and stay tuned to our daily reports for further updates as they become available.

Trans Global Group, Inc. TGGI – Update:

We also have a brief update on TGGI, an stock we’ve been tracking for quite some time. Our first of many mentions came three months ago on August 12th, after which time we observed a low of .003 in the stock.  This week, TGGI traded as high as .0284. That’s an incredible rise of 847%

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: OREX Recap & More

Orexigen Therapeutics, Inc. OREX

On a day like yesterday, when the markets take an unexpected and brutal bath, it always helps to find a trend-bucker. Fortunately for us, all was not lost because we had included OREX on our watchlist in our premarket report.

Even as most other stocks wavered under the intensity of yesterdays bearish push, OREX ran from a daily low of .23 to a high of .39 for a 70% intraday run. It also closed with strength at .34, not too far below the area of a massive gap on the chart. We’ll definitely want to continue monitoring OREX, as even a partial filling of said gap would produce further gains of a significant magnitude.

Bottom-Watch Plays

While we’re on the subject of bottom plays, we’re going to add both of the following to our working watchlist, as each one is extraordinarily oversold at the present time.

ReShape Life Sciences, Inc. RSLS
MoneyGram, International, Inc. MGI

Extended Watchlist:
AMPE, DFFN, CGEN, VATE, PLPL, CANB

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: INCC, SHMN & More

International Consolidated Companies, Inc. INCC

To start  things off this morning we’re going to talk about INCC, a stock that popped up on one of our recent scans. It rose from the dead a couple of weeks ago, and has made a huge move from triple-zero territory into the .003’s pushing to new highs and putting us on alert.

When we see a stock in this position, we start to think about the potential for dip-and-rip opportunities. We’ll monitor the activity from here, waiting for the inevitable pullback, which will put us in vulture-mode. When we witness the bottom, that’s the time to swoop in, and make a quick play on the bounce.

SOHM, Inc. SHMN

This morning’s scan yielded a potential opportunity with SHMN. We like the look of this play for a few reasons. Firstly, the stock is coming off of a relative bottom, so we like the current price range here in the .002’s.

We also noticed the SHMN share structure, with just under 90M in the float, which is notably tight for a stock trading in this range.

The company also recently announced increased revenues, to the tune of a 65% increase last year.

All of these aspects of SHMN give us cause to place this stock on watch as we kick off another trading week.

VLCK Options, OWOO & Extended Watchlist

VCLK Options
Last Monday, we were taking a look at the VCLK Options chain, specifically the $21 09/21 Calls. Following that report we observed a low of 1.10. By week’s end we observed an increase to 1.40 on Friday.

While we have not seen a power-move from VCLK as yet, with almost a month remaining until the expiration date on these contracts, there’s still plenty of time for that to occur. Especially the stock can continue to fill the gap on the chart (as we’ve pointed out below), the 09/21 $21’s could be pushed significantly deeper into the money by the the third week in September rolls around.

So far it has done a good job of posting higher highs and higher lows, and stairstepping its way toward those 50 and 200DMA’s at 23.38 and 24.00 respectively. We’ll be following along as it continues its recovery.

One World Holdings, Inc. OWOO
OWOO is coming off recent 52-week lows, and the company sent out a PR this morning containing some exciting news. They’ve retained the services of Steve Varner for the 3D sculpting of its planned line of celebrity dolls. Designing of two lines of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle action figures for Playmate Toys are among Varner’s notable acheivements.

It’s always interesting to observe the behavior of a stock that is coming off of its annual lows, especially one with untraded-upon news, so OWOO is going to be an area of interest for us as we kick off this new trading week.

HOUSTON, Aug 26, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE via COMTEX) — The One World Doll Project, subsidiary of One World Holdings, Inc.
