4 Fresh Options Plays to Finish the Week

SPY Runners, Earnings Plays:

We played both sides of the fence on the SPY yesterday, signaling a strike range of both puts and calls in our premarket report. We only consider such a thing when the markets seem due for a choppy day, and we were certainly correct in assuming that would be the case. Thanks to a mixed session, we got just what we were looking for with the SPY Puts doing their thing in the morning, and the calls claiming the spotlight for the remainder of the day. Our pair of earnings plays also yielded results, giving us the third consecutive session of 100% accuracy on our ideas.

The specific targets we were zeroed in on were the SPY 03/11 $424-422 Puts, the SPY 03/11 $422-424 Calls, the JD Weekly $60-58 Puts, and the ASAN 03/18 $40-35 Puts.

Closing Out an Interesting Trading Week

Bearish Retail Targets Fall Despite General Uptrend:

With the state of the markets this week, we had remained primarily focused on bearish signals through to yesterday morning’s report. Even as stocks put forward an impressive rebound on Thursday, the majority of our tracked plays still produced.

Two of our three designated potential targets bucked the trend of the day, both giants in the retail space. The KSS Weekly $58-56.50 Puts and the RL Weekly $130-125 Puts logged very respectable intraday upswings, with four out of those six contract sets recording double-bag gains or better.

Here were those trend-bucking moves, and total potential daily gains for traders:

KSS Weekly $58-56.50 Puts
$58:
3.00-5.54 (+85%)
$57.50: 2.40-4.00 (+66%)
$57: 1.70-4.22 (+148%)
$56.50: 1.30-3.65 (+181%)
_____

RL Weekly $130-125 Puts
$130:
4.10-10.85 (+165%)
$125: 1.45-6.50 (+348%)

Fresh Options Ideas:

We’re going to flip back over to the other side of the fence this morning and designate some bullish options ideas for today. The scenario with the above mentioned short plays was the exception, not the rule. The typical key to our particular brand of quick-strike trading is to constantly keep your finger on the pulse of the markets and heed the prevailing winds.

BKE Weekly $40-42.50 Calls
DE Weekly $357.50-362.50 Calls
SPY 05/21 $415-417 Calls

Big Moves Across the Board

Blink Charging Co. BLNK – Recap

Our first order of business this morning as we wrap up another great trading week, is to take a look at the incredible performance we’ve seen from BLNK since we flagged it back on September 30th.

After coming down to a low of 7.33 in October, BLNK has spent this entire month on the uptick, which culminated in a new high of 19.10 during yesterday’s session. That move represents an increase of 161% and firmly plants the stock in blue sky territory. The stock is gapping up in the premarket this morning and it looks like we should see some new highs once again.
_____

Alpine 4 Technologies Ltd. ALPP – Recap

We also signaled interest in ALPP on Wednesday morning, and that stock has made a multibag move in just a couple of sessions. We’ve observed a run from .0735 up to a high of .162. That comes out to an upswing of 120%
