SPY Review, OTC Recap & More

Infrax Systems, Inc. IFXY – Review:

Our first order of business this morning is to go over the performance of a stock that we initially tagged last week on Friday. IFXY produced quite a run subsequent to our alert, posting a low of .0081 that morning, and registering a high of .0137 yesterday. That works out to a session-over-session gain of 69%

We’ll keep an eye peeled this week for the chance that IFXY can make its next move up from this higher base level of support. Volume over the past couple sessions has been quite higher than average so the potential for a continuation of its recent bullish activity is certainly present.

SPY Recap:

Our quick strike options play for yesterday morning’s report turned in a fantastic ticket on the day. We were tracking the SPY 10/04 $434-432 Puts, and thanks to a particularly bloody open for the markets at large, we saw significant movement in our designated targets.

The SPY has long been our go-to market analog play, and it is particularly helpful on days like yesterday with no interesting earnings plays of which to speak. Here are the intraday gains that were made possible by this particular idea.

SPY 10/04 $434-432 Puts
$434:
 1.50-7.64 (+409%)
$433: 1.06-6.69 (+531%)
$432: .75-5.70 (+660%)

Friday’s Multi-Baggers, Fresh Ideas

GPS, WDAY Options Recaps:

As is our custom, we’re kicking off this new trading week by scanning back to our performance on Friday. Our longer-term calls didn’t impress just yet, but both of the quick-strike ideas we had for weekly calls did produce some nice chances for us on the day.

We were zeroed in on the GPS Weekly $27-28.50 Calls and the WDAY Weekly $255-270 Calls following the Gap and Workday’s earnings drops, and were afforded some very nice intraday gain opportunities, with only one contract set in our designated ranges falling shy of multi-bag gainer status.

GPS Weekly $27-28.50 Calls
$27: .18-.46 (+156%)
$27.50: .09-.21 (+133%)
$28: .09-.17 (+89%)
$28.50: .11-.44 (+300%)

WDAY Weekly $255-270 Calls
$255:
 9.07-19.80 (+118%)
$260: 5.20-14.75 (+184%)
$265: 2.24-10.00 (+346%)
$270: .95-5.40 (+468%)

We’re not going to rule out Friday’s longer-term September Calls in HIBB from going green yet, with nearly three weeks remaining until expiration.

Interesting PTON Setup & More

Winning Options Review:

As is typical for a Monday morning around here, we’ll kick off this fresh trading week by going over our winning ideas for Friday’s session from the day’s premarket report, before moving into what’s interesting to us today.

The top movers for the day began with our targets in the Deere & Co. chain, the DE Weekly $357.50-362.50 Calls which were pushed by a strong Q2 showing for the company. That was followed closely by our SPY targets, the SPY 05/21 $415-417 Calls which yielded their large intraday moves in an afternoon rebound.

Here are the very respectable gain opportunities that arose as we tracked these plays:

DE Weekly $357.50-362.50 Calls
$357.50: 4.50-12.75 (+183%)
$360: 2.74-11.00 (+301%)
$362.50: 3.20-9.35 (+192%)
_____

SPY 05/21 $415-417 Calls

$415: .61-1.37 (+125%)
$416: .21-.61 (+190%)
$417: .05-.16 (+220%)

Peloton Interactive, Inc. PTON – Options Ideas:

We are fairly dry on the earnings front today, but we did notice a solid technical setup on PTON, along with some insider buying last week. We’ll look to formulate a shorter and longer-term set of corresponding targets.

Things are going to be slim with regard to the daily number of earnings reporters to choose from for quick-strike trading ideas for the next 8 weeks, but we’ll strive to find other opportunities like these.

PTON Weekly $101-103 Calls
PTON 06/11 $105-107 Calls
