Friday 4 Winners, Today’s 4 Fresh Plays

Friday’s Options Gainers:

We closed out the trading week on Friday morning in grand fashion, highlighting a 4-pack of fresh earnings-related options ideas for the day. Despite the markets sliding back and three out of the four being bullish ideas, we scored solid gain opportunities in everything we were focused on, which is fairly typical around here.

The targets that we were interested in tracking in Friday’s premarket report were the KMB Weekly $130-134 Calls, the SLB Weekly $40.50-41 Calls, the HCA Weekly 245-237.50 Puts, and the SNAP Weekly $29-30 Calls. A 4-Pack of Fresh Options Plays

Options Puts Buck the Market Trend:

We decided to go bearish on a couple of options ideas for yesterday morning’s premarket report, flying in the face of the market sentiment of the day. HAL and LMT were both coming off their earnings reports, and a short felt like the way to go.

Our specific targets were the HAL Weekly $41.50-40.50 Puts, and the LMT Weekly $465-460 Puts, and here were the excellent moves they put forth for the session:

HAL Weekly $41.50-40.50 Puts

Options Review, Bearish on New Plays

BAC, SYF Options Review:

We made good on both of the short-term options trading ideas we issued in yesterday morning’s premarket report. with our long -term play needing some more time to mature. We were zeroed in on the BAC Weekly $36.50-37.50 Calls, as well as the SYF Weekly $37-39 Calls, which also produced significant intraday gain opportunities for us on the day. The daily ranges and total possible profits off of those ideas were as follows:

BAC Weekly $36.50-37.50 Calls

$36.50: 1.18-2.86 (+142%)

SYF Weekly $37-39 Calls
