PHOT, CYTR, RNN & Extended Watchlist

Growlife, Inc. PHOT

We’re looking toward PHOT once again today, this old favorite of ours has provided us with opportinuties on countless occasions, and yesterday the company had some important news hit the wire. The company has enlisted the services of former Microsoft and Yahoo! exec, Marco Hegyi, to serve as Growlife’s President. The company is also set to begin a $40M capital infusion from a Nevada private investment group called CANX USA.

For these reasons, as well as the ripening conditions on the chart, we felt we needed to bring PHOT once again to the foreground of our discussions. We also prepared a video chart presentation for your convenience.

CytRx Corp. CYTR

CYTR put forth an exciting day of trading yesterday, with the stock undergoing several bounces. The stock opened at 3.90, and hit a subsequent high of 4.39 (+13%). We then saw a pullback to 3.45, and a bounce to 3.74 (+8%). This was followed by bounce from 3.55 to 4.02 (+13%), it pulled back again, and made another swing, this time from 3.60 to 4.05. (+13%)

Flippers certainly had the chance to have a field day with this one, with possible cumulative gains on the order of 47% presenting themselves.

Rexhan Pharmaceuticals, Inc. RNN

RNN came off of yesterday’s extended watchlist to provide our readers with a chance for a nice flip, trading from a low of .4026 to a high of .5179. That move represents an intraday gain of up to 29% on roughly 10X the posted 3mo. average volume.

ICLD, PGCX, FREE & Extended Watchlist

InterCloud Systems, Inc. ICLD

ICLD appeared in Friday morning’s extended watchlist, and by the time we sent out an afternoon update, had already impressed with a 97% gain from 4.41 to 8.67. The stock’s continued momentum would carry it even further, reaching a daily high of 10.35, a total possible gain of 135% off of the morning low. All that on nearly 58X the 3mo. average volume.

It appears as if further gains will be added to that figure today, with the stock gapping up into the 13.00-range this morning.

The catalyst for this monstrous move from ICLD appears to be extremely improved 3rd quarter figures over the same period last year. Announced on Thursday, highlights include a revenue increase of nearly 450% and gross profits nearly 5x that of the previous year. >>> Read 3rd Quarter Results

Virtual Sourcing, Inc. PGCX

PGCX, a stock that provided us with an intraday gain of 26% on Friday, bouncing to a high of .1225, closed one tick under that mark at .1224. We still have our eye PGCX today as the company has announced the completion of an important step along the way to a planned exchange uplisting. The full press release is included below:

WASHINGTON, DC, Nov 18, 2013 (Marketwired via COMTEX) — Virtual Sourcing, Inc. (OTC Pink: PGCX) has received an increase to $25 million in acquisition financing in preparation for additional acquisitions currently being reviewed. Our capital formation agreement for acquisitions and operational funding remains at $25 million bringing our current total engagement package to $50,000,000.

We are expecting to close the initial acquisition in mid-December. Our auditors are continuing to work diligently with the expectation of releasing the audit report near the end of the first week of December 2013 allowing us to close the transaction shortly thereafter.

Discussions have been held on the need to increase the capital formation package. These discussions indicate that it is likely the capital formation engagement would be increased to at least sufficient funds to complete the second acquisition in Spring 2014. The requirement to close the second acquisition would cause the capital formation package to rise to approximately $75 million meeting our total funding needs of $100,000,000 to complete both acquisitions plus supply funding for product expansion and operations.

We are developing an initiative to reach institutional investors and the brokerage community. The initiative will have a full launch in January 2014 with site visits to several locations. This project is the next primary step to raising our share prices to the sustainable level required to meet the qualifications for acceptance to the AMEX/NYSE stock exchange.

FreeSeas, Inc. FREE

Beginning on September 10th, FREE began a monumental 320% run for us, going from a low of .2213 all the way up to .9287. In the weeks that have followed the stock has been searching out support, finally finding its bottom just below .30.

On Friday, the stock closed near the high of day, and this morning we are seeing a slight gap-up, so we now have FREE on rebound-watch. Regaining even a fraction of September highs would mean significant gains from current levels.

FREE, ZLCS, ARQL & Extended Watchlist

FreeSeas, Inc. FREE

It seems yesterday’s news that FREE orchestrated a deal to clean roughly $30M of debt on its balance sheet was well received, as the stock continued its recent unptrend. After we pointed out FREE gapping up into the tune of .63 in yesterday morning’s report, the stock touched a daily low .622 before rocketing to a high of .93, good for a 50% intraday gains.

The 200DMA sitting at .99 is going to be the next major resistance hurdle for FREE. Granted the fact that the stock is up approximately 660% from recent lows, it certainly may be a time to start thinking about taking profits off of the table in anticipation of a pullback.

Zalicus, Inc. ZLCS

ZLCS is a morning gapper that popped up on our scanners today. The stock recently made a nice 94% move (.48-.93) from the beginning of August to the beginning of September. The chart looks ripe, with a recent golden cross taking place, and the stock making higher highs and higher lows. The level of support in September has been .71, and main resistance is sitting at .93. This will be a stock that we want to keep an eye on going forward.

ZLCS is a biopharma company that develops treatments for pain, and currently has a drug undergoing Phase 1b clinical study.

ArQule, Inc. ARQL

Speaking of stair-steppers, ARQL has been on a tear since last Thursday when it touched a low of 2.12. Yesterday the stock reached a high of 2.53, a move of 19%

Both yesterday and the day prior, ARQL had breached the 50DMA at 2.47. We’re watching the stock currently gapping up to the tune of 2.88, up another .41 (+16%) from yesterday’s close.  In breaking the 2.80 mark in premarket trading this morning, the stock has surpassed a a recent level of resistance around 2.80. Any time we find a big-board stock with this kind of momentum, we like to pay close attention.

The next levels of resistance that will need to be cleared is sitting at 3.05 and 3.10, swing-highs from May and April, respectively.
