Blue Horseshoe Stocks: New Options Ideas & More

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. TEVA

We’re very interested in TEVA as a potential bottom bounce play. The stock registered new 52-week lows midway through last week, and has exhibited a solid level of support. Trending up slightly in the premarket, we’re going to be tracking a pair of June options contracts to coincide with what could easily be a significant rebound.

Our specific targets are going to be the TEVA 06/28 $12.50 & $13 Calls, which could present us with sizable opportunities to profit
_____

Sprint Corp. S

We’re also going to set our sights on a range of Sprint options as the company attempts to gain FCC and DOJ approval on its $26B proposed merger with T-Mobile. The review period ends in June, but we’re more interested in the short term capability of the stock to provide us with quick strike chances. We’re going to radar the S Weekly $7-8 Calls.

Adverum Biotechnologies, Inc. ADVM – Review

A stock we recently began tracking, ADVM has been in a fairly continual uptrend since we signaled it for observation on the morning of April 17th. In the last month, the stock has made considerable bullish strides.

From the low we observed on the day of our initial alert, at 5.44, ADVM has gone on to record a high of 9.17. That comes out to an increase of 69%

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: JMIA Runner & More

Jumia Technologies JMIA

Our first order of business this morning is to mention the performance of JMIA after we included in yesterday’s premarket report on our extended watchlist.

This relatively new play doesn’t even have an options chain as yet, but the move made by the stock itself, especially for something in this price range, was really impressive. JMIA ran from a low of 33.10 on up to 43.50 during yesterday’s session, marking an impressive intraday rise of 31% As of this morning in the premarket, that high has risen to 50.60, and pushing our observed gain to a super solid 53%

FRESH OPTIONS IDEAS

Netflix, Inc. NFLX – Although the company downplayed its Q2 guidance in yesterday’s post-market release, NFLX still showed strong growth for the quarter, and looks to be in line for a solid finish to this four-day trading week which wraps up tomorrow in advance of Good Friday. Wre will look to possibly take advantage of the NFLX Weekly $365-375 Calls.

PepsiCo, Inc. PEP – Pepsi was among those companies reporting their quarterly earnings this morning in the premarket, and we’d like to formulate an idea there as well after the company posted a Q1 beat on profits and revs. We’re going to track the  PEP Weekly $124-125 Calls into tomorrow’s close.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: SPY Options & More

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. HPE

There hasn’t been a day in quite some time when we we’ve offered  options trading ideas to our readers and didn’t come out successful. Yesterday was definitely no exception. Our premarket report contained a flag of the HPE Weekly $16.50 & $17 Calls.

In both cases, double bag gains or better could have been achieved, with the $16.50’s making a perfect double as they ran from .55-1.10, and the $17’s pushing the envelope a bit more, rising 186% from .21-.60.

SPDRA S&P 500 ETF (SPY) – Options Idea

With the markets appearing to be in line for another solid push, we’re going to confine our fresh idea this morning to the SPY. We have traditionally had much success with trading options in this particular fund.

Today we’re going to be looking at the SPY Weekly $290-291.50 Calls, to watch into the end of the week.
