Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Wrapping Up a Great Week

RadioShack Corp. RSH

We thought some of Wednesday’s momentum in RSH could spill over into the day’s session, and said as much in our morning report yesterday, and the stock did not disappoint.

RSH continued its resurgence, beginning the session at just a hair under a dollar and barreling its way up to a subsequent high of 1.60. That’s an intraday run that afforded traders a shot at up to a 60% profit. In closing at 1.43, RSH held a majority of its gains on more than 10x the 1-month average volume.
RSH has now made notable gains in each of the last three trading sessions.

We alerted this stock prior to the the .55 annual low reached earlier this month, and from that level yesterday’s peak pricing represented an overall increase of  190%

SGOGO Group Ltd. SGOC

A tag of SGOC in yesterday’s extended watchlist would turn up an excellent opportunity as the stock proceeded to run rapidly in the first half hour of trading, from a low of 2.07 to a high of 3.22 shortly after 10am.

That spike was good for gains in excess of 55%- later in the day there was a 16% swing from 2.56-2.98. Closing at 2.84, SGOC is another one that had a nice move, and maintained more than half of its daily gain.

Drone Aviation Holding Corp. DRNE

DRNE is a stock we’re going to be monitoring into next week; currently it’s consolidating off of a nice 46% move (.89-1.30) we witnessed from last Friday  to this Monday.

We’re going to be looking for DRNE to hold support at or above the current 50DMA of .78, and will have our eyes peeled for any chances that might present themselves with a potential rebound.

Extended Watchlist:
OTIV, AEZS, XXII, RALY, NFEC

In closing we’d like to wish everyone an enjoyable long weekend for the Labor Day holiday, and we’ll see everyone bright and early on Tuesday morning to kick off what promises to be an exciting short week!

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: ACHN, PBR & Extended Watchlist

Petroleo Brasiliero S.A. (Petrobras) PBR

PBR had another solid day yesterday, dipping below $15 only briefly where it found support at 14.88 before going on to push its upper limits over the course of the session, acvhieving a new high for us at 15.34.

All of the options contracts that we’ve been monitoring on PBR served up chances to gain a significant amount as the stock continued to bull its way north.

Even our longer-term idea, the 07/19 $15 Calls we’ve been tracking since last week from a low of .25 has already given us the triple-bagger we suggested it might in last Wednesday’s report. They closed out the day at .88, an overall move of 252% and it would appear they want to gap up along with PBR stock this morning, so we expect that figure to increase even further.

PBR has come a long way since we caught it coming off of 10-year lows back on March 21st. The stock itself has regained a lot of ground, coming from our observed low of 11.25 all the way up to current levels above $15. As we stated yesterday, if PBR has a tough time breaking through resistance at its previous swing high of 15.85, we’ll start to think about taking profits off of the table.

Achillion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ACHN

We have to begin this morning by congratulating any of our readers who picked up on our coverage of ACHN yesterday, which allowed us the chance to make sizable gains for the second day in a row.

The stock gapped up as it did on Monday and continued to roll, trading in a range from 6.02 to 7.81 on the day, giving traders the opportunity to pocket close to 30% in profits intraday on inordinately high volume (To the tune of more than 22x the 3-month average).

From the low of 3.72 that we observed on Monday, the stock has already made a fantastic  110% move to the upside over the span of just two sessions.

The company put more news out this morning as well:

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Updates on BFLX & SKYF, Extended Watchlist

Yesterday’s two momentum plays both fared extremely well, collectively allowing us the chance to bank more than 200% in cumulative intraday gains. Read ahead for an update of those performances:

Bioflamex Corp. BFLX

BFLX opened at .0009, and dipped as low as .0007 before closing out the day at the high of .0013, marking an overall intraday move of  86%

As you can plainly see on the intraday chart below of BFLX’s trading activity, there were several swings on the day, which actually tallied cumulative gains of 153%

The stock closed up 44% on the day, and did so on over 425 million shares traded. That’s the kind of momentum that is strong enough to sustain multi-day runs, so we’ll be on the lookout for that. There will be a point where profit-taking will drive the price back down, where we can be ready to time a dip-and-rip, if that’s the scenario with which we are presented.

In order to keep our interest, BFLX will have to hold support in the .0007-.0009 range.

__________

SKY440, Inc. SKYF

SKYF started out the day yesterday at .0013 and briefly dipped as low as .0012 before going on a romp, reaching a high of .0024, which marked a chance for a 100% intraday gains.

The stock closed at .002, up 54% on the day with 569 million shares trading hands, another example of the extreme liquidity that we like to see. For us to remain interested in this play, we’ll need to see support hold off of yesterday’s lows of .0012.

Extended Watchlist:

HALO, GORO, XXII, TC, PLUG

XIDE, RAYS, PLUG, XXII & Extended Watchlist

Exide Technologies XIDE
Our bottom bounce call of XIDE yesterday morning came just in the nick of time, as the stock opened at .1451, and saw a low of .13, before going on to hit a high of .2147, and ending the day at .195. All in all, a good play that afforded us a chance at intraday gains of up to
65%

It is important to remember that this is not a long-term play. The company has filed for Chapter 11, and its future is uncertain at best. No, we were in this one for a quick dead-cat bounce, and that’s just what we got.

Raystream Inc. RAYS
RAYS also made a nice intraday run yesterday, from its low of .0035, to a high of .0057 we were looking at possible gains of 63% That’s in addition to the 200%+ in gains that we’ve already seen from RAYS within the past few trading sessions.

Plug Power, Inc. PLUG
PLUG came off of the extended watchlist yesterday to rack in some modest yet respectable profits, gaining 24% on the day. We’ve been pounding the table on PLUG since February 15th, and since that time we’ve seen a low of .1155. To yesterday’s all-time high of .475, represents a 311% move.

22nd Century Group, Inc. XXII
Another play from yesterday’s extended watchlist that fared pretty well was XXII. It made a nice 19% intraday spike on more than 5X its 3mo. average volume before closing the day flat.

Extended Watchlist:
FORC, KNDI, BEAT, DOLE, LRAD, FNMA

CETV, MADI, RAYS, APRI, XIDE & Extended Watchlist

Central European Media Enterprises Ltd. CETV
CETV was as low as 2.67 following our first alert a month ago today, in which we caught CETV off of our Form 4 watchlist. It went on to touch a high of 3.89, a 46% gain. For roughly the past two weeks, CETV has seen a period of consolidation, and appears to have found a base at last Thursday’s low of 3.17.

The 20DMA of 3.26 is our current support level, and the 50DMA 3.56 is where resistance currently sits.

We are still confident that CETV will prevail in the long-term, granted the sizable position held by broadcast giant Time Warner.

Raystream Inc. RAYS
RAYS provided us with a quick early morning opportunity for gains, dipping to as low as .0053 before tearing upward to .0148, a possible intraday gain of 179% After it pulled back off of that surge, we also saw subsequent bounces from .0088-.0115, and then again from .0052-.0069.

Madison Systems, Inc. MADI
MADI came off of our extended watchlist on Friday to open up at .035, and make a 60% move to .056. Yet another reminder of many we’ve gotten in the past, to pay every bit as much attention to the plays on our extended watchlists, as we do to our main focal points.

Apricus Biosciences, Inc. APRI
At 2.89×2.91 gapping up premarket, APRI currently up 13% on over 300K shares traded. There appears to be a huge gap to fill on the chart up to 3.30, so we are going to want to monitor closely this morning, as the stock seems to be gearing up for a strong open.

Exide Technologies XIDE
This stock hit our scanners this morning as it has been testing new 52-week lows. We are circling XIDE like vultures, and are going to want to watch carefully for any signs of a reversal, because the bounce resulting from the recent bottoming out could be significant. It could even happen as soon as this week, so keep an eye peeled for potential bottom bounce opportunities.

Extended Watchlist:
PLUG, BLDP, XXII
