Starting the Week Off Right, Keeping it Rolling

More Options Rippers:

Once again we came up with some solid options plays yesterday. A couple of the fresh ideas we formulated and passed along in our premarket report fared rather well. We led off with some SPY Puts which worked out from the outset, as the markets dragged their feet until around noon. We also had a bullish set of calls in the Coke chain which afforded ourselves and our readers a decent shot at some sizable intraday profit opportunities. The other pair of ideas from yesterday’s report were longer term calls with expiration in late May, so we’ll come back to those at a later date.

Our winning targets for the day were the SPY 04/25 $426-424 Puts and the KO Weekly $64-66 Calls, and here were the gains that were there for the taking on those:

Foresight Energy (LP) FELPU

Our first order of business today is to highlight a call that was made by a member of our daily traders chats on Skype. As you can see in the included snapshot, “DJ” offered up an alert to the group on Friday morning, and the stock responded with a two day rally from .03 to .135. That works out to a total upswing of 350%

This is also a great example of why we encourage our readers to join in our daily private traders chats. Anyone can get in on the action, simply by sending a skype contact request to the user “stocksumo”. We look forward to seeing some of you there!

We’ve been tracking EROS since October, with the first of two alerts in that moth coming on the 9th.

We are going to highlight some EROS options as well for a fresh idea to start the week off with, the EROS 12/20 $2.50 Calls.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Bottom-Bouncers & More

Riot Blockchain, Inc. RIOT

Things move pretty fast around here, but we do our best to keep up with tracking on all of the stocks we mention in our daily reports. In certain cases, we see slow buildup, and in others we see a quick rocket to new highs, but in the case of RIOT, we actually got both.

After we highlighted our interest in RIOT roughly two months ago on December 19th, it had been on a rather steady climb, until Friday when the lid blew off the top. Our observed low subsequent to our mention of the stock was 1.29, and Friday’s new high came in at 4.24. That’s a gain of 229% in a span of just eight weeks!

Bristow Group, Inc. BRS

We also wanted to quickly highlight a bottom-bouncer with some real potential to the upside. We ran across BRS this morning, noticing that it had just produced some activity off of a relative bottom.

There is a gap to fill on thwe chart and room to run for some potentially solid gains, so we’ll be keeping an eye peeled for that as we kick off a fresh trading week.
