OTC and Options Reviews, New Targets

Wednesday’s Solid Plays:

Our watchscreens were light yesterday morning, which is not atypical as we continue through the holiday season and rapidly approach the new year. This time of year is often rather subdued, but we managed to cite a couple of potential options plays for the day in yesterday’s premarket report, both of which went on to post notable intraday gain opportunities.

Our pair of targets for the day were the STNG Weekly $55 Calls, and the PLUG Weekly $14-15 Calls,  which recorded the following ranges, and produced the following intraday profit chances:

STNG Weekly $55 Calls

American Diversified Holdings Corp. ADHC – OTC Recap:

We have an OTC this morning as well concerning ADHC, a stock we’ve been tracking for just over a month, having first mentioned it on November 12th. During that span we have witnessed a solid increase as it ran from a low of .003 up to yesterday’s new high of .0069. These kinds of plays always serve as a good reminder to comb through our daily extended watchlists and use them as a jumping off point to form watchlists of your own.

Tuesday’s Recaps, Today’s Fresh Ideas

Recap For Tuesday Plays:

While the markets certainly pulled a head fake yesterday, stair-stepping down for the majority of the session after an early morning gap-up, we still managed to see some marginal gain opportunities in the daily options ideas we put in yesterday’s premarket report. While the gain chances in the SPY and others were slightly muted compared to what we usually achieve, our FLNC Calls clearly stole the show with an excellent multibag performance.

Our specific areas of interest for Tuesday were the SPY 12/13 $407-410 Calls, the ORCL Weekly $82.50-85 Calls, the CNM Weekly $22.50 Calls, and the FLNC Weekly $17.50 Calls. The rundown of the moves they and the total possible profits associated with those, were as follows:

SPY 12/13 $407-410 Calls
$407:

$408: 1.88-3.16 (+68%)
$409: 1.47-2.53 (+72%)
$410: 1.12-1.97 (+76%)
_____

ORCL Weekly $82.50-85 Calls

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options Review

Nike Inc. NKE

The first of two fresh options ideas submitted in our report in yesterday’s premarket, our NKE targets provided us with some good opportunities early on in the session.

It was the NKE Weekly $89-91 Calls, and despite low volume in the $90.50’s, the rest of those targets worked out just fine. Here are the total possible intraday gains that were on the table.

$89 Calls – Range: 1.69-2.69 – Max Gain: 59%
$89.50 Puts – Range: 1.32-2.06 – Max Gain: 56%
$90 Calls – Range: .99-1.77 – Max Gain: 79%
$91 Calls – Range: .55-1.10 – Max Gain: 100%

SPDR S&P500 (ETF) SPY

By now, our regular readers should know that the SPY is often our go-to target for on-the-fly options ideas. It’s a market analog that has rarely failed us in the past.

Yesterday’s idea of the SPY Weekly $296-297 Calls was no exception to this. Here are the single-session gins that were possible with these ideas.

$296 Calls – Range: 1.06-2.70 – Max Gain: 155%
$296.50 Puts – Range: .85-2.32 – Max Gain: 173%
$297 Calls – Range: .67-1.95 – Max Gain: 146%

The SPY is gapping up again this morning. We’d expect to see these gains extended, and will expand our track list to include the $297.50 and $298 Calls as well.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: DRYS Historic Run & More

Dry Ships, Inc. DRYS – Update

We thought DRYS was a prime play on Monday morning when we included the stock in our watchlist, and even after seeing an incredible gain of 215% that first day and reiterating our interest yesterday morning, nothing could have prepared us for the epic run-up that has followed.

The chances of ever catching a stock in the $13-range and watching it surge to over $100 in a matter of two sessions are razor thin to say the least, but the fantastic performance of DRYS (and indeed, the shipping sector as a whole) this week has delivered it right to our doorstep.

Yesterday the stock extended its gains by trading in a range from 45.47 to 102.00, marking an intraday boost of 124% and an overall two-session jump amounting to 650% over Monday’s low of 13.60! Here we are for a third straight day, watching the stock gear up with strength in the premarket, indicating that even more gains could be on the immediate horizon.

We’ll also be in line to catch the eventual dip-and-rip that’s likely to occur when this historic run finally does peter out, and based on the volatility we’ve witnessed thus far, it stands to be quite significant when it does come to pass.

Subpenny Movers

Staying true to our modus operandi, which dictates that we spread our focus between big boards and penny stocks alike, we had a number of subpenny interests yesterday as well, and those also saw some nice moves.

Anchorage International Holdings Corp. AHCP –  This play started out as a subpenny in the morning, and finished it out in Pennyland, cracking the penny barrier as it ran from .006-.015 on the day. That works out to a single-session move of 150% on just over eight times the monthly average volume.

____

Bulova Technologies Group, Inc. BTGI – A modest yet notable swing was recorded by BTGI, as the stock ran from .00275 to .0038. That went down as a 38% pop, and came on absolutely massive volume, to the tune of more than 28X the monthly average.

____

ViaDerma, Inc. VDRM – Chatroom Call

Rounding out our subpenny package yesterday was a call that we made available in our daily traders chat. VDRM was as low as .0031 after we caught the news that it was getting into the marijuana space, and it ended up rallying all day to close at its high of .0073 (+135%).

We are always keeping our eyes and ears open for anything that could turn into the next big runner and we relay that information to our loyal followers anytime anything special comes across our trading desk after our premarket newsletters are published.
