Kicking Off a New Trading Week

Recapping Friday’s Runners:

After closing out the week on a high note and reporting on the big gains from all six of our options trading ideas from Thursday, we offered up three more ideas for Friday’s session, and once again swept the board. It’s always nice to put a solid end cap on a good week of trading, and our performance was definitely up to snuff last week.

We were focused on the SPY Weekly $426-425 Puts, the ALV Weekly $90-95 Calls, and the RF Weekly $17-16 Puts for the session, and they put up some pretty good moves on the day. Here’s the breakdown of those winning figures.

Yesterday’s Clean Sweep:

We fared quite well yesterday morning with our first options targets of the week from our premarket report. We had presented four possibilities, and ended up seeing some pretty good intraday movement from each of them. The pickings are slim with regard to earnings reporters, but we had a relatively decent selection to work with.

We ended up tracking the WBA Weekly $30-29 Puts, the SNX 07/21 $90 Puts, the KFY 07/21 $50 Puts and the AXON 07/21 $190-195 Calls. They produced the following intraday runs, and total possible gains:

We are off to a very rare late start this week, so let us first apologize for the unusual absence of a premarket report for yesterday’ session. Our data was temporarily down, so what we’ll do now that we’re back up and running, is go over the moves we’ve seen from the options ideas contained in Friday’s premarket report, then we’ll take a look at where we’re at today in terms of some fresh ideas to consider going forward.

Ideanomics, Inc. IDEX

Yesterday morning we suggested that our readers give their attention to IDEX in sessions to come, and we got some modest yet notable first day results.

The stock traded up from a low of 1.65 and hit 2.30 on the day, marking an intraday swing of 39% It managed to maintain well over half of its advances, closing with strength at 2.09. This interests us more than enough to continue tracking its progress.

The company provided an update on its large electric vehicle order in a fresh PR this morning (>> Read PR)

To close out what has been a very interesting trading week, we will start by going over our winning options plays from yesterday morning’s premarket report. We had signaled some ideas in the RAD and ACN chains that put up quite a nice intraday performance.

The targets to which we are specifically referring were the RAD Weekly $13.50-14.40 Calls and the ACN Weekly $207.50-212.50 Calls. All of the sets in those ranges produced notable moves on the day:
