Recaps from the Short Week, Fresh Plays

Options Recaps:

Our options idea for the TWTR chain from Thursday morning’s premarket report returned good intraday results despite the stock trending in the wrong direction. The markets were subdued on Thursday, but that also played well into the bearish ideas we had signaled in the two sessions prior. On Tuesday we signaled some puts in the KMX chain, and on Wednesday, we added JPM to the mix. In both cases, Thursday’s session brought new highs for us.

Our exact targets were the TWTR 04/14 $47-49 Calls, the JPM Weekly $129-127 Puts, and the KMX Weekly $105-97.50 Puts, and here are the updated figures on the moves we observed in those plays:

Continuing to Play the SPY & More

Large Options Gainers:

Our first order of business this morning is to go over the SPY Puts from yesterday morning’s premarket report which flourished with the help of a significantly down day for the markets at large. We played SPY calls the previous day that worked out, and today we’ll flip right back to calls as the markets appear ready to head up once again. The SPY is our favorite market analog for daytrading, and perhaps now some of you may have a better idea as to why.

Yesterday’s successful targets were the SPY 04/11 $446-444 Puts and we’ve also got a new high in the LW 04/15 $60 Calls we’ve been tracking. so here are the figures on all of those, and be sure to read on below to find our fresh SPY targets for today so we can keep this train rolling!

Reviewing Friday’s Winners, Fresh Plays

Recapping Friday’s Runners:

As our regular readers should know, we focus a lot on quick-strike trading ideas for the SPY, and in typical fashion, we played the SPY successfully quite a bit last week. We hashed out some fresh single-session ideas for it on Friday morning in our premarket report, along with some calls for this week in the WDFC chain.

Both of those sets of targets produced solid results on the day with help from the bullish market performance, which peaked shortly after midday. We were able to observe some multi-bag runs in our SPY calls, and some more modest yet still solid moves from the WD-40 Company.

Those trading ranges and total possible gains were as follows:

SPY 04/08 $448-449 Calls
$448:
 .74-2.90 (+67%)
$449: .50-2.10 (+312%)
_____

WDFC 04/14 $190-200 Calls
$190: 6.65-10.60 (+60%)
$195: 4.11-7.00 (+67%)
$200: 1.51-4.40 (+312%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
SPY 04/11 $446-444 Puts
SHAK 06/17 $65 Calls

1812 Brewing Company, Inc. KEGS – News Update:

We also have got another PR update on KEGS this morning, focusing on the execution of the next phase of its plan to clean up the share structure of the company. Last week we passed along the report that KEGS would be undergoing a large reduction in its authorized shares, and this morning, we see that the CEO will be retiring a half a billion common shares from his own holdings.

It’s refreshing to see a company that is so committed to creating shareholder value, and a more attractive prospect for new investors as well. KEGS is on the right track toward marked improvement, and we’ll be along for the ride, monitoring the situation as it continues to unfold.

Watertown, NY, April 11, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — 1812 BREWING COMPANY, INC. (OTC Pink: KEGS) (the “Company”) announced that it has agreed to cancel five hundred million (500,000,000) common stock shares held by its CEO, Tom Scozzafava.  Further, the CEO stated that he could retire or exchanging as many shares that he owns to help increase overall shareholder value regardless.  “My interest is in the long-term viability and growth of the Company, and I am committed to doing what is in the interest of just that.” (>>View Full PR)

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Multiple Mid-Week Winners & More

Multiple Mid-Week Winners

Yesterday’s premarket report was chock-full of prime opportunities to strike it big with some fantastic intraday gains. Here they are in descending order of magnitude:

Diana Containerships, Inc. DCIX – Like DRYS, which we were tracking on such a monumental run that it got halted, DCIX is another play in the shipping sector, which has been the post-election hot ticket. After we tagged it in yesterday’s report, DCIX managed a hearty run from 8.27 to as high as 26.17, an intraday burst amounting to 216%
_____

Sino-Global Shipping America, Ltd. SINO – Tally up yet another shipper that we caught just in time to benefit from the rush on the sector. SINO was another inclusion in our Monday watchlist, and it too has produced a multi-bag surge. The stock traded in a range from 3.45 to 7.86 yesterday, allowing for up to 128% in single-session profits. From our observed low of 1.44 on Monday, it marked a three-day uptrend of 446%
_____

Bulova Technologies Group, Inc. BTGI – We also had a pair of subpenny plays put up solid numbers on the day yesterday. We tagged BTGI on Tuesday, observed a modest run on massive volume, and reiterated as much in yesterday’s report. The trend continued, as the stock ran from  .0036-.0059 (+64%) on over 5X its 30-day average volume. From our observed low of .00275 on Tuesday, it went down as an overall two-day swing of 115%
_____

SpectraScience, Inc. SCIE – Rounding out our list of nice gainers from yesterday is SCIE. The stock traded in a comparatively subdued, yet quite notable range from .0019-.003. That was good for gains of up to 58%

Added Notes:

Options Reminder – We also want to remind our readers of our successful hunch that Bank of America would be a good short yesterday. We saw modest gains in our target contracts, BAC Weekly $20.50-19.50 Puts, and will continue to track the added gains that are sure to be caused from another gap-down here in the premarket, and possible continued backslide today. We’ll provide an update on the activity and our total possible gains in tomorrow’s premarket report.

Shipping Watchlist – Granted the excellent activity in the shipping sector that we’ve been mentioning, we thought it would be a good idea to include a handful of other plays in the space to watch in addition the ones we’ve already mentioned this week: RLOG, GSL, CHNR, NMM, OSG, NAO.

Blue Horeseshoe Stocks: OWCP Breakout Continues & More

OWC Pharmaceutical Research Corp. OWCP

Throughout the week, and since we first alerted it on Thursday, OWCP has been the gift that keeps on giving.  From that first session when it traded as low as .0045, the stock has made appreciable moves each day, and continued to provide intraday opportunities as well as a huge overall move to the upside.

Yesterday was no exception, as OWCP traded in a daily range from .014 to a new high of .03, a 114% intraday pop, and an overall increase of 566% from the low we observed on Thursday.

As pointed out in the following video presentation of the OWCP chart, we identify the current 50DMA of .018 as the ideal support level to hold on any forthcoming consolidations. At the very least, the stock will have to maintain its penny status and ultimately hold at a bare minimum of a .01 to maintain our attention.

Global Arena Holding Corp. GAHC

We’ve got GAHC which came up on our scanner this morning after giving off a strong bottom bounce signal yesterday as it ran from .0027 (just .0003 above current annual low) to .0036. We’re going to want to reserve it a spot on our watchlist in sessions ahead.

The current chart shows a number of indicators suggesting that GAHC could be set to make more moves to the upside, including a rapidly-strengthening RSI and a MACD pinching in for a bullish cross. If the stock were to make a run from current PPS levels to the 50DMA, we would be looking at gains of more than 65%
