A 4-Pack of Fresh Options Plays

Options Puts Buck the Market Trend:

We decided to go bearish on a couple of options ideas for yesterday morning’s premarket report, flying in the face of the market sentiment of the day. HAL and LMT were both coming off their earnings reports, and a short felt like the way to go.

Despite the markets roaring up, both of our ideas bucked the overall trend and recorded excellent moves on the day, providing ourselves and our readers with multibag intraday gain opportunities. Our specific targets were the HAL Weekly $41.50-40.50 Puts, and the LMT Weekly $465-460 Puts, and here were the excellent moves they put forth for the session:

HAL Weekly $41.50-40.50 Puts

Options Review, Bearish on New Plays

BAC, SYF Options Review:

We made good on both of the short-term options trading ideas we issued in yesterday morning’s premarket report. with our long -term play needing some more time to mature. We typically steer clear of banks, but occasionally we will take a shot following an earnings drop and we did so successfully with Bank of America.

We were zeroed in on the BAC Weekly $36.50-37.50 Calls, as well as the SYF Weekly $37-39 Calls, which also produced significant intraday gain opportunities for us on the day. The daily ranges and total possible profits off of those ideas were as follows:

BAC Weekly $36.50-37.50 Calls

$36.50: 1.18-2.86 (+142%)

Meten Holding Group, Inc. METX – Recap:

We also wanted to provide a brief recap on the performance of METX, which we highlighted in yesterday morning’s extended watchlist. We had just been mentioning how it’s important to peruse all of our plays and not just our features.

METX was nearly a fifty cent stock, running from .4845-.70 on the day, for a rise of 44% which is quite an impressive daily run for a stock in that price range.

Big Name Earnings Reporters & More

Denali Therapeutics Inc. DNLI – Options Review:

The first thing we want to do this morning is provide an update on DNLI. Earlier this month, we formulated a longer term options idea which has been heating up over the past week. Most of our daily options ideas are geared toward weekly calls and meant to be quick-strike opportunities, but on occasion we do like to signal interest in contracts with several weeks or even months remaining until expiration.

In this case, we targeted the DNLI 11/19 $50-55 Calls, and in the past several sessions, significant moves have begun to occur, with both sets cracking into multibag territory. So far, the trading ranges on these plays have been as follows:

DNLI 11/19 $50-55 Calls
$50: 1.20-2.94 (+145%)
$55: .50-1.43 (+186%)

We’ll want to continue to monitor these ideas, with more than three weeks left until they expire and the stock being on the move.

Fresh Options Ideas:
UPS Weekly $207.50-212.50 Calls
FB Weekly $325-332.50 Calls

Big Winners, More New Ideas

iBio, Inc IBIO – Update

It was just this past Thursday morning that we were mentioning our great success in tracking IBIO to multibag gains, beginning when we first highlighted it as a potential coronavirus play on March 17th. We subsequently observed a low of .76, and as of our followup last week, it had produced an increase of over 400%

That was before yesterday, in which IBIO took the #3 top gainer spot on the NASDAQ, and broke out to yet another impressive new high of 7.43. That extends the gain we’ve seen on this play since our initial alert to a mammoth 878%  Even as other stocks representing COVID-19 vaccine candidates have been flagging of late, IBIO has continued its impressive uptrend, and we’re excited to see where it goes from here.

Microsoft Inc. MSFT

One of our options ideas from yesterday morning’s report fared quite well during the session, and based on the way things look in the premarket today, we expect to see further increases in our target contracts.

Those were the MSFT Weekly $205-210 Calls and they got off to a really good start with some solid intraday gains:

MSFT Weekly $205-210 Calls
$205: 6.70-11.30 (+69%)
$207.50: 5.65-10.10 (+79%)
$19: 4.75-8.75 (+84%)

We also want to roll up to include the MSFT Weekly $212.50-215 Calls in our watchlist.

Rising Biosciences, Inc. RBII

Another mention from yesterday morning’s premarket report was RBII, and that too exhibited a very nice move on the day.

We have been bringing some of our focus back to OTC stocks quite a bit more in 2020, and this is another in a growing line of solid calls on that front. The stock traded from a low of .003 mand went on to hit .0068, for an intraday rip of 127%
