Thursday’s Runners, 4 New Potential Targets

Options Review:

We didn’t see anything too crazy yesterday in the way of huge gain chances like we did in the previous session, but we still managed to root out a trio of potential plays for our premarket report that logged some level of upswing on the day.

Our watchlist contained the SNX 04/17 $110-105 Puts, the VRNT 04/17 $20 Puts, and the JEF 04/17 $57.50-55 Puts. We typically like to look for weekly contracts that expire on Friday, but occasionally we’ll have to highlight longer-term plays, which we can also continue to track past their initial moves. For yesterday’s list, here were those initial moves:

Wednesday’s Big Wins, 3-Pack of New Ideas

Wednesday’s Big Gainers:

Despite the markets taking a nosedive yesterday, all four of the bullish options trading ideas we hashed out for our premarket report produced big moves on the day. It added another day to our immense streak of winning ideas, with our earnings reporters all bucking the trend at some point.

We had the GME Weekly $28-29 Calls, the DLTR Weekly $69-70 Calls, the CHWY Weekly $34.50-35.50 Calls and the CTAS Weekly $200-202.50 Calls on watch, and they came up with the following ranges and total possible gains on the session:

Solar is Red Hot

Keeping an Eye on Solar

This week has brought some very interesting plays in the solar energy sector. We’ve already seen big gains from SPI Energy Inc. SPI, JinkoSolar Holdings. Inc. JKS, and SunWorks Inc. SUNW, and would like to keep our eyes peeled for other opportunities in the arena which may be boosted by the volatility in those moves.

Yesterday alone, SPI went parabolic as it popped off from a low of 3.30 and hit 46.67 for an intraday run of over 1300%, SUNW ran from .73-4.57 (+526%), and JKS continued a month long run with a solid jump from 28.30 to 33.74 (+19%).

What this all tells us, is that a lot of eyeballs are sure to be flooding the solar space in coming sessions, and we’d like to formulate an options idea in the Invesco Solar ETF (TAN), which is presently flirting with a double top, the breaking of which would put it into blue sky territory. To make things interesting, we are going to place the TAN 10/16 $54-56 Calls on watch.

OWCP Keeps Rolling & More

Inpixon INPX – Review

On December 2nd, we included a mention of INPX in our premarket report, and after searching out its bottom for roughly week following that report, the stock reversed and has been soaring ever since.

In the exactly one month since our alert on this stock, we have now witnessed it trade in a range from a low of .037 up to yesterday’s incredible new high of .39, for an increase of 954%. Its performance was the single biggest daily gainer on the NASDAQ yesterday.

OWC Pharmaceutical Research Corp. OWCP – Update

We keeping having to come back, around to OWCP pretty much every day this week, because this bullish stock continues to set new high marks for us!

As we were just mentioning yesterday, our initial alert came in at .028 the day after Christmas, and after repeatedly setting new highs, yesterday the stock reached a very impressive .1539. That works out to an overall rise of 450% in just one week’s time.
