Sharp Start to the Week, 4 Fresh Targets

Solid Start to the Week:

Things went pretty well for us on Monday to kick off the fresh trading week. We put up a slate of four potential options plays in our premarket report and while they didn’t see the type of volatility we typically prefer, each and every one did manage a notable intraday rise during Monday’s session.

We were looking at the TSLA Weekly $337.50-342.50 Calls, the RIOT Weekly $13.50-14.50 Calls, the COIN Weekly $305-310 Calls, and the MARA Weekly $22-23 Calls. These were the largest intraday runs they recorded:

We had a solid start to the week yesterday, despite the daily earnings calendar being slightly lackluster. We floated three potential plays in our premarket report, and while we didn’t get any earth-shattering moves, every single one of them did record very respectable intraday increases. That sweep of the board kept what has been an incredible run of options success going for us to kick off the week.

We signaled SONG for observation in our extended watchlist on October 30th, and the stock subsequently went on a tear, running from our observed low of .0007, and reaching a high of .01 yesterday. That works out to an incredible upswing of 1328% in just a couple of weeks’ time.

We went bearish on all three of the earnings-based options ideas we presented in yesterday morning’s premarket report. A challenging day for the markets at large only boosted their performances, which led to some really nice intraday gain opportunities for traders. We’re seeing a pickup in the volume of earnings reporters as compared to last week, which is always good in terms of having fresh material for quick-strike options ideas.

We kicked off the week in solid form in our premarket report yesterday morning, despite lacking a large slate of earnings reporters off of which to base our daily ideas. All three of the quick-strike options targets we offered up for the day turned in winning cards. We had a much longer term with a June expiration as well, but we can come back for those at a later date.

Short Week Begins on a High Note: 

We got things off to a really good start yesterday morning with our first report of this short trading week, carrying over the success we have been enjoying all year long. We rarely seem to miss, and such was the case again with yesterday’s potential targets. We selected a couple of big name earnings reporters with weekly contracts, and one extended term expiration, and saw reasonable intraday opportunities out of all of them.
