Friday’s Targets:

Things turned out pretty well on Friday for the possible options plays we were tracking in our premarket report. Despite going bullish on the SPY and getting head-faked by a late morning announcement, there was still some met on the bone right out of the starting gate. The rest of our tracked ideas also fared pretty well.

Our slate for the session consisted of the SPY 10/10 $671-672 Calls, the APLD Weekly $37-38 Calls, and the APOG 10/17 $40 Calls. Here were the best upswings we observed in each of them:

Another Big Session:

We had an excellent session again on Thursday, carrying over the previous session’s success with the options ideas we highlighted in the day’s premarket report. Just like Wednesday, there wasn’t a single contract set in any of our designated ranges that failed to post a double-bag move or better.

Fastenal Co. FAST – Options Recap: 

Our lone fresh options idea in yesterday morning’s premarket report was a play on FAST following its earnings drop. We signaled interest in the FAST Weekly $50-52.50 Calls, and the stock broke out well past that range, facilitating some very nice intraday opportunities for us.

Also in in yesterday morning’s premarket report, we tagged GWH for observation and we were pleased to see the kind of activity it produced on the day as well. It was the stock’s first day of trading on the NYSE, and its first mark left an impression!

From a low of 15.26, GWH ran as high as 28.92, for an intraday run amounting to 90% With that type of day one volatility, we’re very interested to continue observing this play as it finds its footing.

We continue plugging away at attempting to find options plays despite having so few earnings reports to rely on as fuel, and yesterday our big name target was GM. Were were observing the GM Weekly $58-59 Calls with the stock in the midst of a pretty impressive run that has generally persisted for roughly the past month.

The stock ran pretty good out of the starting gate yesterday, and that activity allowed for some decent gain opportunities in the pair of contract sets that we were tracking. Here were the intraday runs they recorded:
