SPY Gains, Longer-Term Plays Popping:

In terms of our options trading ideas from yesterday morning’s premarket report, we saw rather unimpressive performances from a couple of our ideas. However, our laser-like accuracy in dealing with the SPY continued in spades with the SPY 05/11 $402-404 Calls, so we’ve got the figures on those for you this morning.

We will also circle back around to a couple of the longer-term sets of ideas we made last week which have made some very impressive moves for us so far, and don’t expire until the end of next week. We signaled possible plays in the EL 05/20 $250-230 Puts and the FTNT 05/20 $290-310 Calls on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively, and each of them has produced major moves, which were as follows:

The markets took a sour turn for yesterday’s session, but that didn’t stop us from cleaning up on our options plays once again. We set up three pins, and bowled them all over for some really nice gain opportunities on the day.

The contract sets we were targeting were the SHOP Weekly $420-435 Calls, the BKNG Weekly $2300-2350 Calls, and the FTNT 05/20 $290-310 Calls. Like always, we’ll list the daily ranges, and total possible profits to be had, below. Our longer-term calls in FTNT were the only ones which failed to crack into multi-bag territory, but the moves they recorded on the day were still quite respectable.

Fed Rate Hike Sends Yesterday’s Options Plays Soaring

Massive Options Gainers Across the Board:

Thanks to the response to yesterday afternoon’s Fed meeting and rate hike, we came down on the right side of the fence with regard to our daily options ideas. Not only did all four of our fresh targets produce multi-bag intraday gains, but the SPY calls we had signaled on Tuesday also posted impressive new highs before their expiration at the end of the day. So we’ll start off by updating those figures, and continue on to our 4-pack of fresh winners.

Those were the AMD Weekly $95-97 Calls, the ABNB Weekly $149-152.50 Calls, the SBUX Weekly $77-79 Calls, and the MRNA Weekly $150-155 Calls.
