Wednesday’s Winners, 3 Fresh Possibilities

Wednesday in Review:

Things played rather well yesterday for the pair of potential options targets we included in our daily premarket report, There was positive activity in both plays, but as is common, our SPY targets provided the most juice. We’re pleased to have a couple of big earnings reports out today, finally, as we’ve been scraping the barrel for interesting targets for at least a couple weeks now.

As for yesterday’s activity, we had the SPY 07/09 $621-622 Calls and the CAG Weekly $20.50-21 Calls on watch, and here were the biggest runs from those contract sets on the day:

AZZ Multibagger, PEP Options Idea

AZZ Targets Run:

Things were rather thin yesterday morning in terms of potential options ideas that jumped out to us as we were searching for new potential plays. We only had one earnings reporter on the day, and that happened to be AZZ. We decided to go bearish on that, and it turned out to be a pretty good idea. Things will be picking back up for earnings next week, so we have that to forward to, but for now we’re still just getting along as best we can.

We targeted the AZZ 10/21 $40-35 Puts, and while the gain chances they generated didn’t shatter the earth, it was still quite a respectable outing, with the $35’s yielding a really nice multibag rip. Here were the ranges and total possible profits to made off of yesterday’s AZZ Puts.

AZZ 10/21 $40-35 Puts
$366: 6.30-8.98 (+43%)
$367: 1.50-4.80 (+220%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
PEP Weekly $162.50-167.50 Calls

ProText Mobility Inc. TXTM – OTC Recap:

A lot of our regular readers will recognize TXTM as an OTC play that we’ve tracked pretty consistently over the recent past, and one that has been producing solid swing trade opportunities. After our most recent alert on September 27th, the stock has posted a run from a low of .0071 up to .0146, which is a double-bag increase of 106%

Thousand Percent SPY Gainers & More

SPY Calls Rip on Monday:

We were fairly limited yesterday morning with regard to a variety for options ideas. There were no earnings reporters on the calendar, and nothing else really jumped out at us as we were conducting our daily premarket scans. For that reason, we decided to simply go with a pair of SPY ideas for our premarket report. One which expired yesterday, and one that expires Friday.

The dailies were the SPY 10/10 $361-363 Calls, and the weeklies were the SPY 10/14 $365-367 Calls, with the shorter-term plays obviously turning in the most impressive runs. Both sets yielded gain opportunities across the board, which were as follows:

SPY 10/10 $361-363 Calls
$361:
.17-1.88 (+1006%)
$362: .07-1.25 (+1686%)
$363: .05-.75 (+1400%)
_____

SPY 10/14 $365-367 Calls

$365: 2.84-4.42 (+56%)
$366: 2.53-3.94 (+56%)
$367: 2.23-3.56 (+59%)

Fresh Options Idea:
AZZ 10/21 $40-35 Puts

Stock and Options Updates, Fresh Plays

Options Review:

Despite the fresh trading week opening up with a fizzle instead of a bang, both of the quick-strike sets of potential options targets we formulated for yesterday morning’s premarket report were still able to produce.

The targets in question were the DWAC Weekly $27-28 Calls, and the AZZ Weekly $40 Calls. The DWAC calls certainly came through as the top play of the day, while AZZ turned in relatively nominal gains. We’ll continue to monitor those for further activity as the week progress. In the meantime, the DWAC chain provided us with multiple multi-bag gain opportunities on the day:

DWAC Weekly $27-28 Calls
$27: 2.27-5.20 (+129%)
$27.50: 1.85-4.35 (+135%)
$28: 1.92-4.10 (+114%)
_____

AZZ Weekly $40 Calls
$40:
