Wrapping Up a Good Holiday Week

Wednesday Options Recap:

We hope everyone enjoyed the holiday break, however you chose to spend it! We’re thankful for our long history of successful trading ideas, and for you, the readers! As we gear up for today’s half session we are, of course, going to kick things off with a rundown of the plays we alerted in our premarket report on Wednesday morning. There are no earnings reporters this morning, but we’ve got a couple of retail ideas to share.

All three of our ideas from Wednesday posted respectable intraday moves for us, and those were the ADSK Weekly $197.50-192.50 Puts, the JWN Weekly $22-21 Puts, and the DE Weekly $420-430 Calls. While the opportunities we’re eye-popping by any stretch, they were still very good for a day that is traditionally more subdued.

Cosmos Holdings Inc. COSM – OTC Recap:

We also have a brief update on COSM, a stock which has been appearing in our extended watchlists since October 26th. At that time we observed a low of .0675, and COSM has gone on to hit a high of .50 this week. That’s a big time move of 640%

Our daily options ideas that we formulated for yesterday morning’s premarket report contained a varied mix of bullish and bearish targets as well as expiration dates, and thanks to a generally volatile session for stocks in general, all four of those plays put together some pretty good intraday moves for us. Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Bearish Options Ideas

AutoDesk Inc. ADSK

With things looking choppy for the markets this morning, we are going to turn to a bearish idea for ADSK despite the company’s beat on Q2 earnings yesterday after market hours. The stock began to crumble under the weight of ADSK’s weak Q3 guidance. The poor outlook given, combined with the flow of market tides, could be just the thing for bearish options contracts, namely the ADSK Weekly $135-132 Puts.

There are those of the belief that ADSK stock was already valued too high leading into yesterday’s report, which is why we feel confident choosing to go short at the present time.

The Buckle, Inc. BKE – Update

We would also like to update readers on another recent idea we floated. On Friday morning, we selected the BKE 09/20 $17.50-20 Calls for a longer-term options idea, and already it has borne fruit just a few sessions later.

The $17.50 Calls have run from a low of .95 and reached 2.31, marking a gain of 143% Meanwhile the $20’s have soared by an even higher margin, trading in a range from .20 up to .72, which works out to a 260% run.

We included a trio of options ideas in Friday morning’s premarket report, even as we reported hitting a 28-bagger on CGC. Some may have thought that thousand percent gainers were a rarity, but not in this market! They all rose considerably, but TWO out the three ideas yielded chances at single session profits of more than a thousand percent!

Seven Stars Cloud Group Inc SSC

On Friday we noted that our intial alert on SSC on the morning of July 24th led to a a move of 170%+. We then suggested a dip-and-rip could lead to even more gains, and as of the end of the day Thursday we had seen that move, from 2.71 to 4.35.

Friday the rebound continued, with SSC reaching a new high of 5.75. That extended the breadth of this move to 112%, proving that while we mainly focus on options nowadays, our interest in stocks alone still remains.
