We’re returning to CGC to update on new highs for the third straight trading day this morning. Originally put out on Wednesday morning, we have been tracking the CGC 09/21 $30-40 Calls to some fantastic gains ever since.

As of yesterday morning, our overall observed gains on those three contracts were 338%, 596%, and 994% respectively. Following another big day, those figures have been extended by an impressive margin once again.

$30 Calls – Range: 1.76-10.30 – Max Gain: 485%

Fresh for yesterday morning, we cited the TJX 09/21 $105 & 110 Calls as an interesting pair of contracts, and those got off to a decent start. The $105’s traded up from 2.15-3.20 for a gain of 49% and the $110’s went from .50-.80, for an intraday move of 60%

Ever since Constellation Brands’ (STZ) added a multi-billion dollar block to its stake in CGC, the corresponding options idea we put out on Wednesday morning continues to pile on new highs.

Our designated targets were the CGC 09/21 $30-40 Calls, which as of yesterday morning had already produced chances at gains ranging from 150-350% Those ranges were extended by a wide margin thanks to yesterday’s activities.

$30 Calls – Range: 1.76-7.70 – Max Gain: 338%
$35 Calls – Range: .56-3.90 – Max Gain: 596%
$40 Calls – Range: .16-1.75 – Max Gain: 994%

(Note: The 32.50 and 37.50 calls didn’t trade much volume until yesterday session, where they too produced sizable gains)

The first thing we want to talk about this morning is the performance of JWN on Friday following its inclusion in our premarket report. We zeroed in on the JWN Weekly $52.50-57.50 Calls for some end of the week daytrading opportunities, and came up with some really nice movers.

Strong multibag moves were there for the taking all across the board, helped out by the company’s Q2 revenues which easily surpassed expectations on the Street with the aid of a boost in sales.

$52.50 Calls – Range: 3.00-6.60 – Max Gain: 120%
$55 Calls – Range: 1.12-4.20 – Max Gain: 275%
$57.50 Calls – Range: .19-1.69 – Max Gain: 789%

For another update, we want to track back to our idea from Wednesday morning’s premarket report, the CGC 09/21 $30-40 Calls.

The stock achieved new highs on Friday, and thus our highlighted options calls continued to pile on more gains as well. Here’s the ranges and total possible profits on those contracts so far:

$30 Calls – Range: 1.76-4.50 – Max Gain: 156%

Tyson Foods Inc. TSN – Review

A couple of weeks ago on August 6th, we signaled a range of TSN calls as the stock was just coming off of a bottom in the mid-$50 range. Those were the TSN 08/31 $62-63 Calls, and after a solid stretch of upward momentum, the stock reached new highs on Friday at $62.60.

That move has allowed for big gain chances in two out of three of our designated calls. The $63’s haven’t quite begun to see action just yet, but we’ve seen great moves from the $62’s, which ran from .30-.95 (+217%) and the $62.50’s which traded up from .22 to .61 (+177%)

Seven Stars Cloud Group Inc SSC

We slated SSC for observation on July 24th and the stock traded as low as 1.95 following that mention. This morning we are seeing an abnormal gap up, with the stock trading as high as 5.30 in the premarket.

So, in addition to the 172% move we have witnessed thus far, we will be on the lookout for a dip-and-rip to possibly see even more gains out of this play.

A longer-term set of ideas we recently formulated were the EGN 09/21 $75 & 77.50 Calls. from our report on Monday morning. The contracts had shown marginal increases that day, but since then have added considerably to the highs we’ve observed.

We witnessed the following intraweek moves in these solid contracts, and with plenty of time left before expiration, even more gains are not out of the question.

The $75 Calls have thus far gone from 1.10-3.80 (+245%), while the $77.50′s have traded from .93-2.50 (+169%).

One of yesterday morning’s fresh options ideas, the CGC 09/21 $30-40 Calls turned in a very nice intraday performance. Despite the stock posting a red candle on the day, the activity still provided us with some excellent chances to score a quick profit.

It stemmed from beverage giant Constellation Brands increasing its stake in Canopy by a whopping $4B. Here are the gains that were on the table as a result, making this another fantastic call on our part.

$30 Calls – Range: 1.76-3.81 – Max Gain: 62%
$35 Calls – Range: .56-1.50 – Max Gain: 40%
$40 Calls – Range: .16-.56 – Max Gain: 51%

Walmart, Inc. WMT

For today, some of the most promising options plays are likely to be in the WMT chain. The company posted a bigger Q2 sales boost than it has in a full decade. To correlate with the spike in attention and activity we are going to signal a range of calls to monitor into the end of the week.

We’ll be tracking the WMT Weekly $97-101 Calls, which should score some good opportunities on a likely dip-and-rip scenario this morning.
