Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Pot Stocks, ALDR Recap & More

Max Sound Corp. MAXD

After congratulating ourselves on observing a 112% rip from MAXD after tagging it in Thursday morning’s premarket report the stock wasn’t finished. Just as a refresher, our observed low that morning was .0033 and the high came in at .007.

We said we wanted to keep tracking the stock due to a strong close and the momentum did indeed carry over into the new trading week. After the slightest dip to .006 first thing in the morning yesterday, MAXD once again took off northward, reaching a new high at an even penny.

The activity was good for isolated intraday gains of up to 67%, and at that penny high, it represented a two-session upswing of 203% over our observed low from Thursday. As long as MAXD continues to register higher base levels of support as it has done thus far, it will retain our attention.

Alder Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. ALDR

ALDR was an inclusion from yesterday’s watchlist as well, and we saw some excellent intraday gains, especially considering its elevated price range. We watched as it traded up from a low of 21.75 and reached a subsequent high of 27.79.

That represents a single-session advance of 28% which is all the more impressive coming from a $20+ stock. The move came on roughly fifteen times the 3-month average volume, and was facilitated by news of positive migraine study results.

Also included in our report yesterday was a list of marijuana stocks we’ve tracked over a period of years, that we wanted to revisit to kick off the week, as investor interest in the cannabis space seems to be on the rise of late. In addition to HEMP, which made a small double-digit increase but had a relatively modest session by comparison, the following pair each made gains of a more substantial nature:

GreenGro Technologies Corp. GRNH – First up, GRNH made an impressive daily swing as it traded in a range from .03-.05, for potential profits of up to 53% being made possible on the day.

Terra Tech, Inc. TRTC – The other runner was TRTC, which made a move from .33-.41, a 24% increase. We’re going to continue to reserve a spot on our radars for this one as well, especially with a post-market earnings call slated for this afternoon. (Click through to PR for participation info)

*We also have a reminder for our readers of a couple other pot plays we’ve tracked in the past that we’re going to be monitoring more closely in the light of increased sector activity: PHOT, VAPE

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: LEXG Update & More

Lithium Exploration Group, Inc. LEXG

LEXG has definitely turned out to be a real superstar of the past couple of sessions, after we tagged the stock in our premarket report on Friday. That morning, we witnessed shares changing hands for as little as .1125, followed by a momentous 140% intraday run to .27 before tapering off slightly.

We did do a follow-up with that information in yesterday’s report, and instead of falling by the wayside after a single strong session, LEXG duplicated the performance as its momentum spilled over into the new week.

From an early low of .19, the stock steadily pressed upward throughout the course of the day, closing at its high mark of .35. That goes down as a positive intraday move of 84%, and from our observed low on Friday it registers as an incredible two-day swing of 211%

We will, of course, wish to keep LEXG on our track list with the kind of momentum we’ve witnessed to this point.

Reve Technologies, Inc. (fka Bassline Produtions) BSSP

BSSP appeared on our extended watchlist a week ago today, and since that time, volume and accumulation have been consistent. The stock has been making some nice swings in the .001-.002 range; it’s going to be one we’ll definitely keep an eye on as it has become a flipper’s paradise.  We’ll be on the lookout for it to continue to make higher highs and higher lows off of its recently recorded bottom in the sessions to come.

Tapinator, inc. TAPM

We’re going to place TAPM on watch today as well, with a number of chart indicators suggesting that a continued breakout could be in the cards. As you can see on the snapshot below, the stock just cracked its 50DMA and has established its ability to make big gains in the past. It’s coming off of its fourth consecutive session of higher highs and higher lows.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: AAPL Options Recap

Apple, Inc. AAPL – Options Ideas

We decided to revisit AAPL Options yesterday morning just as the tech giant was coming off of a huge earnings beat that came post-market on Tuesday. If you recall, we highlighted Calls in the $113-117 area for potential intraday flip opportunities, and three sets of contracts in that range gave real standout performances with each making three significant swings over the course of the day. All of that price action added up to many fine chances for traders to reap sizable profits.

Here’s a look at specific figures of the kinds of gains that were possible, accompanied by a visual representation with the intraday charts:

$114 Calls: 2.54-4.26 (67%), 3.47-4.30(24%), 2.23-3.92(76%) Cumulative Total: 167%

$115 Calls: 1.90-3.40(79%), 2.67-3.40(27%), 1.58-3.06(94%) Cumulative Total: 200%

$116 Calls:
1.35-2.65(96%) , 2.00-2.65(33%) 1.10-2.27(106%) Cumulative Total: 235%

This scenario could not have been more textbook following a big earnings beat.  We’ve utilized this exact sort of trend on numerous occasions in the past, and as you can plainly see, it continues to be an effective strategy to this day.

We mentioned those contracts could be good for intraday and intraweek gains and we’re holding to that, so we’ll continue to have our eyes fixed on the AAPL Options Chain as the week draws to a close.
