Another Clean Sweep on Options Targets

Options Winners Across the Board:

We really started off this trading week with a bang in yesterday morning’s premarket report. We swept the board with respect to our fresh options trading ideas for the day, as is fairly typical around here. We strive to show our readers multiple profit-generating opportunities on a daily basis, and it’s always nice when we can hit that objective without any stumbles.

Our targeted sets of contracts were the SPY 05/09 $408-405 Puts, the TSN Weekly $90-92.50 Calls, the PLTR Weekly $9-8 Puts, and the BNTX Weekly $136-139 Call, with those SPY Puts being the top runners out of the bunch, thanks to a drooping day for the markets at large.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options for the Week & More

Arcadia Biosciences, Inc. ARKA – Update

We placed RKDA on watch on Friday morning’s premarket report. We caught it off of one of our routine premarket scans, and determined that a bounce play was a good possibility. Not only did we get what we were looking for, but the stock looks ready to gap-up once again this morning.

From a daily low of 2.70 the stock reached as high as 4.97, marking an intraday increase of 84% When measured to today’s new premarket high of 6.42, it works out to a two day swing of 138% and gives us good cause to continue to monitor its activity as we open up a new trading week.

DXC Technologies, Inc. DXC – Recap

We went bearish on DXC in Friday’s report, offering up an options idea of the DXC 08/16 $40-37.50 Puts. Both of those contracts performed well as DXC had the floor fall out from beneath it, posting the worst daily loss in nearly two decades.

The $40 Puts ran from 2.66-5.00, representing an intraday pop of 88% while the $37.50’s soared into multibag gainer territory with a move from 1.00-3.10, a gain of 210%

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: AmpliTech Update & More

Amplitech Group, Inc. AMPG

We have been tracking AMPG for roughly seven weeks now, and thought it was a good time to provide another update. Following our initial alert on the stock in the beginning of April, we observed a low of .043, and AMPG hasn’t looked back. We continued to pound the table as it has gradually ramped its way up, and yesterday it once again pressed its upper limits. The new high on this play is now .0699, which works out to a total rise of 63% in the time we’ve been covering AMPG.

We would also highly suggest our readers take the time to check out the following video on AMPG which offers an exclusive perspective on what makes this company and stock so attractive. We took a hard line on deeming the stock to be undervalued when we started, and have been vindicated as the market has shown itself to agreee with us. This video goes into a bit more depth on that.

Sysco Corp. SYY – Update

A couple of weeks ago, we began tracking SYY including the SYY 06/14 $71 Calls. On the morning of that report, the stock registered a low of 70.93, and in the time span since then, has stair-stepped its way up as high as 75.67, which represents an increase of just 7% however those calls have enjoyed a considerably larger jump. The $71 Calls have run from 2.08-4.30; a gain of 107%

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: SPY, MAXR Recaps & More

Maxar Technologies, Inc. MAXR – Review

Despite what appears to be a significant downturn looming this morning, the markets as a whole posted a solid bullish session on Friday, and that helped one stock we’ve been tracking in recent weeks to record a new high for us.

We tagged MAXR for observation in mid-March, and before the end of the month, it had consolidated down to a low of 3.83. The month of April brought a fairly steady uptrend, and Friday’s strong performance kicked it up another notch. The stock hit a new high of 6.66, marking a move of 74% in just over six weeks. The stock filled almost the entire topside gap that was on the chart, and the RSI has just cracked into the Power Zone, so we’ll want to continue to keep an eye on its activity.

Sysco Corp. SYY – Options Idea

Despite continued China trade tensions throwing a wrench into the markets to start the week today, we are going to be looking a little further ahead with an options idea relating to the imminent golden cross on the SYY chart, combined with the company’s earnings beat posted this morning in the premarket.

The food wholesaler has a chance to break a double top, and we’re going to be ready with an options idea in the event that it manages to do so. Our highlighted targets are going to be the SYY 06/14 $69.50-71 Calls.

Friday SPY Update: We signaled interest in the SPDR S&P500 ETF (SPY) Weekly $292.50 Calls on Friday morning, and those contracts traded up from a low of .53 to 1.76, which represented a single-session move of 232%

Special Note: Our extended watchlist today contains more penny stocks than usual. The OTC tends to heat up when uncertainty strikes the larger markets. We’ll have an eye peeled for interesting activity on that front.
