4 Fresh Ideas for a New Trading Week

Friday Options Recap:

It was a little bit of a subdued finish to what was an otherwise fairly exciting week of trading on Friday. We had a limited slate of earnings reporters on the day, but still formed a few ideas that managed to make some early moves. The percentage gains weren’t quite on a level that would get us overexcited, but all contracts involved did make reasonable moves, with one lone exception.

Those ideas that we were tracking were the SPB 05/19 $65-70 Calls, the TSLA Weekly $175-177.50 Calls, and the SPY 05/12 $412.50-413 Calls. Here’s how their early positive movement played out in terms of total possible gains for quick traders:

Thursdays Runners:

We were in really good shape following yesterday morning’s premarket report, in which we included five earnings-related options trading ideas. It was a heck of a day, as four out of those five potential target sets yielded the chance at some serious multi-bag intraday gain opportunities. It was a mixed bag of a session for the markets in general and it didn’t seem to hurt our chances, with all of the positive activity in our tracked plays.

Those targets that took off running during the session were the JD Weekly $35.50-36.50 Calls, the U Weekly $31-32 Calls, the TTD Weekly $66-68 Calls, and the DIS Weekly $98-96 Puts. The breakdown of the total possible profits they provided on the day were as follows:

Fresh Ideas:
GOOS Weekly $40.50-42 Calls
LK 11/22 $19-21 Calls

Applied DNA Sciences, Inc. APDN

We also want to briefly go over yesterday’s landmark performance by APDN, a stock we most recently mentioned on October 22nd. We did see a backslide following that alert, but APDN has more than made up for it with its incredible move.

Yesterday alone, the stock made a big enough move to register as the number one gainer on the NASDAQ as it ran from 5.57-19.69, an eye-popping 254% pop.
