Blue Horseshoe Stocks: SHRK Recap, Options Updates & More

SharkReach, Inc. SHRK

Our alert to our readers yesterday morning on the situation surrounding SHRK was absolutely spot-on. We tagged it as a momentum-mover and explained that we’d be on the lookout for an early dip followed by another run like the one that occurred the previous day.

Events played out exactly as we ascertained, with the sleight dip to the daily low of .30 occurring first thing in the morning followed by a rebound and an impressive run to a high of .66 toward the end of the session.  It marked an intraday upswing of 120% and occurred on well over five times the 30-day average volume, with the close coming in just four cents below the high-of-day.

We’ll remain interested in SHRK as long as it continues to build higher base levels of support moving forward.

Facebook, Inc. FB – Options Update

Yesterday morning, our notion that FB was in line for a significant tumble proved to be the right idea. We signaled a range of both short and intermediate term options contracts to correspond  with our bearish feelings on the stock, and every single target yielded the chance for premium intraday gains.

Our short term range included the Weekly $113-110 Puts and the longer-term idea was concerning the Feb 19th $109-105 Puts. Here’s a breakdown of the kinds of gains that were made possible by our timely alert.

Weeklies:

$113 Puts – Trading Range: 1.85-3.91  – Max Gain: 111%
$112 Puts – Trading Range: 1.27-3.15 – Max Gain: 148%
$111 Puts – Trading Range: .93-2.41 – Max Gain: 159%
$110 Puts – Trading Range: .47-1.91  – Max Gain: 306%

02/19 Expiration:

$109 Calls– Trading Range: 1.98-3.13 – Max Gain: 58%
$108 Calls – Trading Range: 1.67-2.76 – Max Gain: 65%
$107 Calls – Trading Range: 1.27-2.33 – Max Gain: 83%
$106 Calls – Trading Range: .99-2.00 – Max Gain: 102%
$105 Calls – Trading Range: .91-1.71 – Max Gain: 88%

We can expect to see further moves out of the these contracts as FB is down even further in the premarket this morning.

Bonus Idea: To close out the week we’ll also have our eyes on Weekly LNKD $140-125 Puts. Despite an earnings beat, reduced guidance is leading to a premarket backslide for LinkedIn.

Now Corp. NWPN

We also want to quickly congratulate any of our readers who may have caught our tag of NWPN in Wednesday morning’s premarket report. Our observed low on that day was .002, and as of yesterday’s impressive new high of .007, we had witnessed a two-day swing totaling 250%

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: News Play, MHRC Recap & More

Magnum Hunter Resources Corp. MHRC
In yesterday’s premarket publication, we went over several momentum plays that have been very good to us in recent sessions, and among those was MHRC. We tagged this one last Monday (11/16)just a couple of sessions after it registered a new annual low.

From there the stock has built one heck of a recovery, and after a bangup intraday performance yesterday, it managed to press to new highs yet again. The intraday move on MHRC was from a low of .037 to .074, which comes out to an even 100%, and that high represents a total increase of 252% over our observed low of .021.

As we pointed out in a previous mention of this stock, there are a couple of gaps on the chart, the filling of which would mean more big moves to the upside. They sit at .08-.15, and beyond that, from .19-.26. The filling of the first gap would spell the chance for yet another double-bagger, so we’ll be sure to leave this play on our radar.

AgriEuro Corp. EURI

Speaking of momentum movers, we want to take this opportunity to recap the performance of another stock that we tagged for observation in our report on Monday the 16th. On that day, we caught the stock at a low of .381, and it has been smooth sailing ever since. EURI has recorded higher highs and higher lows every single day, culminating in an impressive new high of 2.00 yesterday.

That incredible move works out to total possible gains of up to 425% for anyone who caught our initial alert just seven sessions ago. Cheers to those who took advantage!

First Choice Heathcare Solutions, Inc. FCHS

Catching our eye toward the end of the day yesterday was FCHS. The stock made a nice intraday move from .73 and ran into the close at .98 on heavy volume.

That action alone would generally be enough for us to place a stock on watch for a possible continuation of momentum, but the company sweetened the pot even further with a post-market reveal of some promising guidance through 2016.

FCHS figures to be a stock that we track over an extended period, so now is the time to familiarize ourselves with its characteristics. To that end, we recorded a video of the chart this morning to point out some of the technical highlights, and would suggest our readers take a few minutes to check it out:

( Please Note: In the video, Stock Sumo gives the former company name, “Medical Billing Assistance Inc.” as it is still listed this way on StockCharts.com. First Choice Healthcare Solutions, Inc. is the correct and current billing.)

Pfizer, Inc. PFE Options Idea

We’ve noticed that PFE is rebounding off of a recent relative low on the chart, and this morning the stock is gapping up considerably in defiance of a less-than-ideal PR alluding to disappointing top-line results from late-stage studies of the drug Lyrica. We’re going to monitor a quick options idea to correspond with this activity, specifically, the PFE Weekly $31-32.50 Calls.

Petroleo Brasiliero SA (Petrobras) PBR – Options

After quite some time away from the stock, we revisited PBR in yesterday’s premarket report, and the timing was certainly fortuitous. In the past we had grown quite accustomed to the PBR options chain providing us with chances for quick-strike profits, and it appears some things don’t change.

We made our primary focus the PBR Weekly $5.00 and $5.50 Calls with attention also going the $6 Calls if PBR broke above 5.75, which it did for a brief time. In every case, the opportunity for sizable gains in the first hour of trading was present.

The $5 Calls ran 42% from .55-.78. The $5.50’s went from .20-.36, marking an 80% pop, and the $6’s made the most notable move, running 175% from .04-.11.

We’re going to keep a continuous eye on these contracts leading right up to their expiration tomorrow afternoon.

Propanc Health Group Corp. PPCH

As we were just mentioning in yesterday’s report, PPCH has been on quite a tear since we tagged the stock in Friday’s extended watchlist. Our observed low from that afternoon was .0276.

The stock has set higher highs and higher lows every single day this week, and yesterday would go on to break a nickel. At its PPS high of .052, it marked an 88% swing from Friday’s low.  We’ll keep PPCH on our radars as long as it maintains support above a previous area of resistance around .04.

Compugen Ltd. PUGE

We also want to take a brief moment to point out the nice move made by another recent mention of ours. PUGE appeared in our extended watchlist on Tuesday, and has turned in a respectable two-session performance since that time.

The stock recorded a low of .006 on Tuesday, and yesterday it cracked the penny barrier, registering a high of .0105; a 75% session-over-session swing.

Axion Power International, Inc. AXPW

We’ve covered AXPW numerous times in the past, and after taking a look at the current setup of the chart, we’re going to begin watching it more intently in the sessions to come. Yesterday the stock was trading just .08 above its 52-week low, and it appears as if a rebound could be in the cards.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Recaps of PPCH, EGYH & More

Energy Holdings International, Inc. EGYH

EGYH presented us with a tremendous swing-trade opportunity after we began tracking the stock last week. It started off as a subpenny play, and following a low of .0081 a week ago today, it barreled its way past the one cent mark and well into pennyland.

The excellent five-session swing from .0081 to yesterday’s new high of .03 represents a move of 270% so congratulations to anyone who took advantage of even a portion of of those gains. We’ll continue to track the progress of EGYH provided it can maintain support above previous resistance at around .02.

Propanc Health Group Corp. PPCH

PPCH has appeared in our reports many times in the past, and most recently, we re-alerted and began tracking the stock at the end of last week. After an appearance in Friday’s extended watchlist the stock made its way down to a low of .0276 just prior to the close, and it hasn’t looked back since.

PPCH followed that swing-low with two consecutive bullish sessions, culminating in yesterday’s high of .0459 just before the end of the trading day. That registers as a 66% swing in slightly over two sessions, and it also logged considerably higher-than-average volume over that span as well.

We’ll look for PPCH to continue stringing together sessions of higher highs and higher lows, helped along by this recent surge in upward momentum.

Petroleo Brasiliero SA (Petrobras) PBR – Options

Speaking of old favorites, we’re revisiting another stock that has appeared numerous times (83 times including this morning, to be precise!) in our reports, and for good reason. Quite awhile back, we caught it coming off what was then its ten-year lows, and leveraged the recovery into thousands upon thousands in percentage gains via the options chain. If you’re a newer subscriber, feel free to go through our PBR archives to see just what we’re talking about.

We want to come back to PBR after all this time, because it has recently set a new 12-year low just prior to the beginnings of a rebound. The chart is ripening, as we’ve pointed out below, so we feel that now would be a good time to track some options calls.

To take advantage of a continued uptrend, we’re going to zero in on PBR Weekly $5.00 and $5.50 Calls for the moment. In the event that PBR manages to break past 5.75, we’d likely be looking at rolling our strike price up to the $6’s.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Continued Options Success & More

Continued Options Success

We kept pounding the table on SPY options to kick off the week yesterday morning, following some of the largest single-session moves we’ve ever witnessed came to the contracts we were tracking on Friday. The Weekly $191.50-193 Calls served up the chance at earth-shattering intraday gains ranging from 5966-26000% and while our ideas for yesterday obviously didn’t produce figures like those, the potential gains were still exceptional in and of themselves.

Based on the premarket activity mixed with our own expectations of how market activity would unfold, we specifically targeted the SPY Weekly $194-197 Calls and were very pleased with the ensuing action in every set contracts:

$194 Calls  – Daily Range: 3.12-5.07 – Max Gain: 63%
$194.50 Calls  – Daily Range: 2.91-4.57 – Max Gain: 57%
$195 Calls  – Daily Range: 2.42-4.15 – Max Gain: 71%
$195.50 Calls  – Daily Range: 2.19-3.77. – Max Gain: 72%
$196 Calls
  – Daily Range: 1.90-3.35 – Max Gain: 76%
$196.50 Calls  – Daily Range: 1.59-2.95 – Max Gain: 86%
$197 Calls  – Daily Range: 1.33-2.60 – Max Gain: 95%

The markets have now seen five consecutive days of a strong rally, so we’d expect to see a brief consolidation and course correction. In that event, we’ll look for the SPY to hold support in the $195-range in order for us to remain interested in the above-mentioned weekly contracts.

Lululemon Athletica, Inc. LULU

The last time we formulated an options-trading idea for LULU was roughly a year ago, and at that time we caught a single-session move of over 400%. We want to revisit this play again today; this time, with a longer-term idea. The stock itself is attempting to record a sustained rise off of recent lows, and the chart appears to be ripening toward that eventuality.

The idea that we’re going to submit accordingly is going to be the LULU November 6th $53 Calls (Last Trade 1.25)  It’s quite feasible that we could see a return on the chart to the $56-range by the expiration date. That would push those contracts three dollars into the money, and would likely produce double-bag gains, so we’re going to place them on an extended watch.
