Monday’s Movers, 3 New Potential Plays

Monday Review:

We got off on a good foot for this holiday-shortened week yesterday with the options possibilities we formulated for our premarket report. With this week, and next, both being cut straight down the middle, we don’t expect a ton of activity, or many earnings reporters, but as always we will make our attempts for each trading day right through the holiday season.

Friday’s Movers, Duo of Fresh Ideas for Monday

Friday Review:

It wasn’t the perfect ending to the week that we’d hoped for on Friday, after including three ideas in our premarket report, but only hitting on two of the three. However, it was a our only failed target of the entire week, so all in all we’re still really pleased with our recent performance.

The two plays that made positive moves for us were the NKE Weekly $73-72 Puts, and the SPY 12/20 $583-582 Puts, and these were the figures they posted on Friday:

NKE Weekly $73-72 Puts

Reviewing Monday’s Wins, 3 Fresh Targets

Monday’s Movers:

We came up against a mixed bag to start off the week yesterday, with just two of our three potential options plays for the day yielding notable positive results. We had hashed out that slate of three in our premarket report and while we would obviously prefer good marks across the board, two out of three isn’t half bad.

Our winning ideas were the MAR Weekly $260-255 Puts, and the ZTS 11/15 $190-195 Calls. Here’s how the activity in those contracts played out on Monday:

MAR Weekly $260-255 Puts
$260:
 6.00-10.00 (+67%)
$257.50: 4.00-4.60 (+15%)
$255: 3.00-3.93 (+31%)

ZTS 11/15 $190-195 Calls

Another Good Session, 4 New Ideas

Moving Right Along:

We maintained the status quo on our incredible run of success yesterday by selecting five options trading ideas, and all five returning significant intraday upticks in our premarket report. We had flipped back to the bullish side of the tracks after going with shorts in the previous sessions, and it was a good idea, as the markets finally broke out of their downward cycle and made some good gains.

We targeted the CSX Weekly $30-35 Calls, the PLTR Weekly $26-26.50 Calls, the CAT Weekly $327.50-332.50 Calls, and the UBER Weekly $62-64 Calls. We were quite pleased with the daily performance in each of these plays. We’ve got a good docket of earnings reporters today as well, so it appears we’ll have every chance to keep this weekly streak alive.

CSX Weekly $30-35 Calls
$32.50:
 1.34-2.05 (+53%)
$33: .90-1.73 (+92%)

$34: .29-.95 (+228%)
$35: .05-.45 (+800%)
_____

PLTR Weekly $26-26.50 Calls
$26:
 .62-1.63 (+163%)
$26.50: .45-1.25 (+178%)
_____

CAT Weekly $327.50-332.50 Calls
$327.50:
